About
The beautifully manicured, par-72 Renaissance Golf Course features two distinctive nines. The front nine has an open links feel to it with wide fairways and greens that will accept bump-and-run approach shots. The back nine requires more accuracy from tee to green as it meanders through a large conservation area. Water comes into play on every hole on the inward nine on this course designed by Chip Powell. Most fairways are lined with stately pines and ancient oaks. The greens at the Renaissance Golf Club are a pleasure to putt. These TifEagle Bermuda grass putting surfaces are state-of-the-art and roll fast.

Rain but no rain
Made a reservation to play on GN for the next day and when I got up the forecast was for rain all day my playing partner cancelled I went anyway because it was only sprinkling. Got there no rain no golfers just me all by myself on the course. Played in 2 hours 15 minutes perfect day.
A severe decline from years past!
A fraction of the amazing course it used to be. Club house woman was rude and rushed us out. Greens had just been punched and were sandy and awful. Not a single person informed us of this before the round. The fairways and tee boxes have crab grass growing in them and the rough looked uncut for two plus weeks. Likely will never return to this once awesome course. What a shame.
Aerations caught us by surprise
First let me say, I absolutely love this course, and will be back as soon as the greens have healed. Sadly we were not aware of the Aeration/Sand that we would be playing on.
Lots of rain recently, but the fairways and bunkers were in very good shape.
98 degrees and no Beverage cart was also a surprise, but I don’t think the members support a Cart well enough.
Typically I rave about this course and most especially the greens. Lots of Tee’s to choose from too! Back 9 has lots of pretty holes.
Great layout
the course is always fun and a challenge to play, I sometimes feel they charge on the high side to keep nonmembers out, but that's okay as I will wait for the summer months to come and then I can play.
The course is not in terrible shape but still needs improvement on some of the greens and fairways. The entitlement of members is they feel they can drive on the course anywhere they want, won't fill divets and won't repair pitch marks on the greens.
High Recommendation
Great course! Would highly recommend. I actually played here from a recommendation from a friend. Course had a nice layout which challenged my strategy which I enjoyed. Staff was super helpful.
Greens just punched and sanded
Best course for the money I’ve played here so far.
Fairways are perfect, layout is fun, couldn’t really tell about greens but from what the locals tell me they’re nice.
Once the greens fill in, this is a must play course!
Greens are awesome right now
Not sure when or if they will aerate but the greens are outstanding right now… Sunday evening round basically had the course to myself and the greens are pretty quick and smooooth- great deal at $30

Great value for your money
Couldn’t of had a better day today. I realize it’s June and it’s very hot, but when I tell you we tee”d off at 12:50 and we didn’t see anyone in front or behind us the whole day. Wonderful Layout, we played the burgundy tees, nice challenge. The greens were true and the fairways were well kept. I would recommend this course to anyone, and will definitely be back to play again.
Great day out on the course. Course was in very good shape considering the lack of rain that we have had. There were some spots in the fairways it was a little dry but overall very good and conditions. Restaurant there was very nice and good selection of beer other drinks and other drinks had a very good price. For sure will be back.
Great layout but very shaggy condition!
Anybody got a weed wacker I can borrow? The course layout was really good, but it looked like the grounds crew had called in sick for about a week. Every pin but one that I can remember was cut on the edge at six feet in from the edge and every hole had a beat-up rounded edge like they had been in the same place for days. I've seen the same conditions at a lot of courses in Florida where the details seemed to be overlooked. Not sure what's up with that! Paid $40.00 and it was a decent deal for the money.

This course is fair but tough..
If your in the fairways it’s not that difficult ..
But if you don’t hit a good fairway shot :.it becomes difficult.Wait I just explained GOLF!!!
Enjoyed playing this course
We enjoyed playing this course, although the pace stacked up quickly which resulted in long wait times to tee off (one group of 4 let us play through). The greens rolled nice (punched last month) and the fairways were in average condition. Our only complaint is that there is no driving range to loosen up.
