Madison Green Country Club
About
With over 200 courses in Palm Beach County, architect John Sandford knew he would have to create something special to get attention. At Madison Green Country Club he did just that, creating a unique course that combines many of the best features from local courses, with a few surprises all its own.
Over a thousand palm trees line the course as do over 100 bunkers and 42 acres of shimmering lakes.
One very interesting aspect of the design is that not only does the course get longer as you move back in tees, but the shot angles also get increasingly challenging. This means that the good player not only has further to hit but must also place the ball more accurately on the fairway in order to set himself up for his next shot.
A young teen, his father, his mother and even his grandfather playing together from four different sets of tees will all experience a fair challenge for their respective games that still remains enjoyable!

Golfer Reviews
Greens have filled in nicely. Still a couple of bare spots. However, speed is very slow. Sand traps are not in good shape. Need a lot of work! A lot of grounds maintenance people in the way. They don't seem to consider the players very much. Tee boxes need more work.
Good value on a challenging layout that needs water.
Hadn't played there in year or two. Forgot how formidable the layout is. Wide open it's not. Trouble on every hole with water in copious amounts. Narrow landing areas and fairway bunkers and waste areas that are hard as rock. So are some of the fairways with dormant grass waiting for water and typical Florida humidity. Lots of blind tee shots on dog legs that don't quit. Wished the fairways weren't as bare and hard. Greens and collars were bright spots but the grain is grabby in both directions. You can't die 5 footers into the hole. 4 or 5 weeks and typical Florida rainy weather will help.
Upset at current conditions
We’ve always enjoyed this track but the conditions have gone way downhill. Very disappointing!
All dirt and no grass
Don’t waste your money probably the worst condition of a golf course I’ve played in 25 years greens were decent just fertilized, but no water on the fairways hard pain and dirt.
terrible conditions
we've been playing this course occasionally. over the years. the conditions were the worst ever. the course needs to be
redone!
Course seem to be in not great condition car pass, and waste bunkers seems like they’re doing construction or work on the course several times sprinklers came on mid round while we’re trying to put. There was a few sand traps that were flooded because of the sprinklers.
Great layout
first time playing here. Course knowledge is definitely helpful. Great layout start to finish. Lots of water and sloping fairways. Even though it plays through a community it doesn't feel like it. It needs some TLC, and i understand that they are closing for a few months this summer for renovation. Ton of potential, play it if you get a chance.
Needs some TLC
The course was in pretty rough shape overall. The greens were the best part of the course and that is still not saying much. Heard they are redoing the course this summer so hopefully it is back to greatness soon!
