Madison Green Country Club

Caution for Cond sand traps were basically mud. I understand it was rain the night before but there was no drainage fairways or parched and around the green was less than acceptable for chipping.

Very nice conditions, better than last year at the same period of the year.

The only complaint could be the floating range balls, many of these on my basket were …tired !!

Course was in good condition. Fairways are filling in but a couple of bare spots. A few soft & wet areas. Only 2 greens needed some work. All others we in pretty good shape. No crowds. Played comfortably. I'd recommend it now!

Course in bad condition, no yardage markers and sprinklers were on at 10am on a Sunday.

Course was in decent shape. The cart path was tough to follow in some spots and the carts would shut off due to restricted areas. Besides that, pace was awesome, staff was super nice, and an overall fun day. Totally play here again.

MG is a deserving golf course that should promote moving pace along , having more than one ranger to monitor inexperienced patrons playing the wrong tees and waiting to hit shots that go 50-75 yards when groups are 240 yards ahead. The course is getting the right chemicals, just needs more staff to fill divots on tee boxes, or put dirt on tee boxes to refill teeshot divots , or suggest/ teach/ remind its players do their part to care for the course. I’m driving 40+ miles to play this course, so we just need a little more help. It’ll be worth it.

Greens were fast and they told us, which was fine but the tee boxes and fairways were in rough shape. The winds were strong but for the price, not impressed

I prefer to give great reviews but cannot here. The course has a slope of 147 from the long tee and 129 from the whites. I played the whites. Not much difference in course challenges between the two tees. Lots of fairway undulations, so a flat lie is hard to come by. The greens were firm but hadn't been cut tight, so the roll wasn't great regarding speed nor being true. Perhaps this is just a maintenance issue. Driving, chipping, sand and putting warm up areas to get the round started off on the right foot. I'm a 15 hc and struggled all afternoon. Be prepared to be challenged.

Had a 9:57 tee time, got changed to 10:05 by starter???

Had a 2 some and a 3 some in front that on the first fairway they teamed up to a 5 some, hence over 5 hour round for us!!

My guess is they bumped us for regulars knowing they would end up a 5 some! Made a very long and painful round for us, adding to this the fairways are a cow pasture!! For the money they charge they should put some work on the course!!

Used to like the layout but seems poorly managed now!

Where is the fairway grass???Nope not there I could not find it..The fairways are mostly sand and hard dirt..

I do like the course layout, but it really was too much for me. 15 hc here. This course will kick your tail. Many tee shots over something to narrow fairways with lots of undulations. 1st time on this course & had little idea what was a safe play. I wasn't stroking the ball too well either. Nerves or frustration. I was taken aback by the condition of the greens. A bit weedy and though firm, too long. Needed a tighter cut to roll better. You may enjoy this challenge and I may play it again one day, but in this area of SE Florida, there are more enjoyable courses to play.

From the blues this course is on the tougher side but very manageable. A lot of bunkers and greens are real good and not lightning fast
