Decent course
Not a bad course. The pace of play was pretty bad. Slowed down drastically by a two man. Had my ball stolen by the group behind me as well so I'm not sure if that's normal for the area.
A very nice course but...
This is a very nice local course with interesting layouts. However, the green conditions are not quite up to par. Balls do not roll true at all! The green keepers are not doing a good job in rolling the green surfaces in my humble opinion. Other than that, I really like the course and the Gold Card option they sell which allows you two free games and lots of discounts for all amenities.

Village Golf Course is an absolute gem. The fairways are in fantastic shape, the greens roll true, and the layout offers just the right amount of challenge to keep things interesting. It’s the kind of course that rewards good shot-making and punishes anything less. However, we had the tee time behind what seemed to be a couple of members. One of the guys in the group kept holding up play, this guy was a human rain delay. We believe his name was “Mike” as his partners kept yelling “hurry up mike!” There were a few holes where Mike would wait for greens to clear before duffing his next shot. Dont be like Mike!!! Get lessons before becoming a member and certainly dont get fitted for clubs anytime soon.
Review from a local guest of a member
Village golf course, or some have coined it “villagio” due to its great conditions, fun layout, and customer service has become the best course of the three in the area. As a guest of a member I frequently visit and get to the benefits my member friends do. The course has true rolling greens and grassed fairways, even some rough for a public course! I have been breaking 80 from the blue tee boxes playing within myself and keeping the ball in play and out of the neighboring houses or businesses, while my friend Mike(isn’t a member) struggles to break 💯. I would highly recommend checking this place out and becoming a member.

As a long time member of Village Golf Club, I can honestly say this is the best shape the course has been in. Greens are pure and ROLLING, fairways (im in a lot) very nice and manicured. Tough course that requires a plan otherwise you could end up punching out of trees every hole. If you’re not striking the ball well (like my friend Mike) try a more open course, maybe up north in the Martin County area.
Terrible
Beware of how this golf course operates!!! Booked a 2:39pm 4some for Sunday and arrived early to warm up. At 2:30 noticed we had a good 20-30 people waiting to go out, the starter assured they were only 10-12 minutes behind schedule. Talking with some other who were waiting it turns out they had two 4somes booked at 2:39 and another 4some booked at 2:38pm. No one was happy and after asking the starter how this possibly makes any sense he told me I should find another golf course to play at. Needless to say we did not tee off until 3:30pm and waited on every tee box and every shot. This is not how golf is suppose to be played, this place over books and pace of play is slow, the started is beyond rude and acts as though 50 minutes behind schedule is normal and we should feel blessed to be aloud to even play this place. This mentality of book as many tee times as possible and make players wait 50 minutes to tee off then have to wait on every tee box and every shot is just wrong. So if you do decide to play here make sure you have absolutely nothing to do the rest of the day and are ready to wait 5-10 minutes on every shot, and make sure you do not ask the starter about anything because he will treat you as if you are the problem not the course for booking multiple tee times at the same time
Overall pretty good
First time playing here. Started right on time. Pace of play was ideal-didn’t wait in the group in front, wasn’t pushed by the group behind. Only complaint isi greens are slowww! I think they were rolling at a 5. I’d whack a putt, think “oh gosh, that’s gone!”, and it would end up short.
Beautiful course, very challenging for intermediate golfers
I’m an intermediate golfer I played from the white tees and found it very challenging
Fun course, great staff, slow play…
Everyone there was very friendly, Rob at the bag drop was fun to chat with.
Course was in great shape with a fun layout.
Only issue was pace of play.
