I played this course a couple times it was great now I don’t know. What happened terrible fairways no grass left no way worth the price

This was once one of my favorite courses to play in the area but in the last year or so it’s declined quite a bit. Fairways are filled with weeds, grass is dead all over, almost all tee boxes are in terrible shape and there are times that I was hitting from what might as well have been a fairway bunker lie in the dead center of the fairway. Greens are still in great shape and roll very true but that’s close to the only thing this place has going for it these days in terms of course conditions. Price is adjusted as such for Hot deals as we only paid $29 for our tee time. Likely won’t be back this summer simply because I don’t see how, in the dead heat of summer, they could catch up and get the fairways growing back to where they used to be and ought to be for such a fun course with so much potential.

Greens are ok but the course needs help as all fairways are in desperate help.

I’ve played this course many times. Whilst it has seen better days, the layout is challenging and the greens were always decent. When we turned up on a hot day, we discovered the fairways dry, with many bare spots. The course looked like no one had watered or mowed the fairways for weeks. The greens were still reasonable but slow. Sad to see the course in such poor condition. I’d give it a miss until its future (possible redevelopment?) is decided. Call ahead and check conditions.

Never ever waste money playing here. What a gem this used to be. Now? Awful.

The fairway isn’t a fairway. The tee boxes are sand. There’s weed and sand everywhere. Greens were good though. Would 0/10 recommend playing this course. They would have to pay me to play here again. Very very sad because this course used to be a gem. Now? Wouldn’t send me worst enemy here to golf.

I have lived in the course for 18 years and it is by far the worst I have seen it and it is borderline, the worst course conditions I have ever played. That counts ALL low rent muni-courses over 34 years. It appears the owner has given up and is penny pinching.

I advise all who come here to make your voice heard.

The owner has his sights on a hotel he wants to develop T the edge of the property and is letting the course go to $#!+ in the meantime.

If the hotel IS approved, it is a few years out ((at least) from contributing anything back to golf, if at all. What was once a solid course is a joke. I would be embarrassed to send a friend here.

I have free passes and low rate with a discount card and will really need to be desperate not to go elsewhere.

Fairways were not in great condition. Golf course needed work.

Greens are in good shape ,bunkers need work, fairways a little rough, we need rain! I enjoyed playing there,will play again.

This is my favorite course in terms of layout, difficult but not unfair and requires every club in the bag and some creative shots. Unfortunately the conditions recently in some spots are pretty spotty, the greens are all great but some of the fairways and tee boxes are a little dicey.

Being honest, the condition of the fairways and rough were awful. Worse than awful. Grass was a memory; like playing on patchy brown cement.

The greens were fine. We waited on EVERY hole all round...tee off and approach shots.

No plans to return.

I have played this course for years. The current condition is like it’s never been before the Fairways there is no grass. It’s brown dry hard and if you don’t mind moving your ball 5 to 20 yards to find a spot of grass. The tee boxes have no grass and the greens are spotty and make it terrible to putt on.

The weekend before was thunderstorms and bad weather so I decided not to play however, Madison Green charged me $77 even though I didn’t play. This has happened over the last years, a few times with no problem, but now that the course is having troubles, they’re gonna cause you trouble. They said the course stayed open and people did play so I get no refund or credit. It’s very bad business practices and they’ve lost a customer so rather than going through the same problems with this course that I had stay away and make a tee time and play golf somewhere else.

I love this course but wow was i shocked at the condition of it , the greens were very good but there was no grass on the fairways and what was green was weeds.Iwas very disappointed with the course

Carts and club house needs improvement.

I’ve played this course about 5-6 times. On average I shoot between 90-100 (so not very good), but this course is fun and has its challenges. Greens have always been at least decent. Would definitely reccomend for the price.
