Madison Green Country Club

Amazing round at this great course. Highly recommend playing a round or two here. Range is a water range with floater balls but good enough to warm up on.

I have played Madison Green many times. A challenging layout. The greens have always been the strength, and from tee to green passable. I’ve never seen the course in such bad shape. Don’t blame it on overplay because other.courses are fine. I’ll play here again but I’m giving it a couple of months to recover. It’s not worth the bargain prices at this time.

I’ve played this course many times before the pandemic.

Came back to Florida after two years and this course will not see me again.

Pace of play was horrible. We had a group waiting in front of us at each tee box for the last 15 holes.

Took at least 5 hours to play and we started 25 minutes after our scheduled tee time.

Nice track in pretty good shape. Has sculpting to the fairways and greens, makes it challenging for sure. All in all pretty good shape.

The course was beautiful and in excellent condition. My only issue was the pace of play, 5 1/2 hours.

Fairways, greens, and teeboxes all have weeds and dead patches. Only positive is that everyone is very friendly.

I’m a mid single figure handicapper. What I most like about this course is the variety of shots you play. It’s longish, it’s tight on a lot of hole too.. You need to be a good ball striker to score well here. The fairways are very hard as opposed to tight lies and the perimeters around the greens are also dead pan. Mostly , no room for error on your iron shots, little grass under the ball. That aside, it has good variety and the prices is great. The greens are well maintained, fast and fair, to me that’s important.

I love this course! I play it every year I come to Florida. It’s tight, there’s trouble everywhere unless you can hit straight every shot. Added to the fun is the tricky greens, nice track!
