Royal St. Cloud Golf Links is well known for being some of the best links-style golf in Orlando. It is home to three unique nines that all closely follow the traditions of classic Scottish links golf. A round of golf at Royal St. Cloud will make you feel as though you’ve been to the British Isles and back. The Red/White golf course has been improved to make it more player-friendly overall, but the classic links challenges are still there. The course features sod and wood-faced bunkers and there are very few trees on the course. Like on any links course, be prepared to use every club in your bag. Royal St. Cloud Golf Links is also home to a lighted driving range and short game area with practice bunkers for golfers to work on their short game.

Nice track overall

I like the course and think it’s a good course overall. The greens were a bit rough, but they were pretty fast especially against the grain. The course is pretty wide open most holes with lots of options to bail out if needed.

My biggest issue was pace of play on both nines. We got behind old guys that waited for the green in front of them to clear before teeing off. I also lost my mind waiting for them on the front nine. The back nine had 5 people in one group and only 3 were golfing and all of them looked like beginners. They should have let us pass, but they didn’t.

This place is worth playing, but it could turn into a long day.

I also thought it should have been less than 60 bucks for a Wednesday afternoon, but it was 80 instead.

Immaculate greens and interesting design

I really enjoyed this course and it did not disappoint. Greens were immaculate and were challenging with each one having speed and undulation. The practice green was bare in spots and will be renovated later in the year. I noticed a small pitching area and another practice green on the way to the Blue side. I played the white/blue combo this day and the two nines could not be more different. White was easier with more room in the fairways but tricky if you got on the wrong side of the green or above the hole. Blue nine was tougher but holes 3-6 had huge sand dunes to avoid and challenge off the tee. Also, more water on holes 7-9 which all comes into play. Price point was good to. My only suggestion is to get new carts that are electric. The current carts are aged and noisy when you have that many golfers on the course. Just a suggestion but it did not take away from the enjoyment of the course. Loved the telephone booths on the course too, an ode to UK and links style golf all while in St Cloud.

One of a Kind

We played the red and white nines, which I thought were both in great shape. Overall, this course is definitely an outlier in central Florida golf, in a good way. It forces you to play links-style golf, and has quirky things sprinkled throughout the course (bright red telephone booths, golf ball vending machines on par threes, etc.), which gives the course a ton of personality. It's not trying to be pretentious, and provides excellent value and a wonderful experience, as a result.

Great bang for the buck

First round of 2026 and i wanted to play somewhere new and would be easy on me. RSC didn’t disappoint. All of the staff was super friendly and assisted in my day. Paired up with a threesome. Course definitely looks like it gets a lot of play but greens rolled smooth, tee boxes had good enough grass. Layout is very interesting and fun. May head back out Monday before I leave.

GO HOME HACKS AND SNOWBIRDS!!

Some of yall need to understand that the driving range exists for a reason and you don’t hit 500 balls on course. Some of us have places to be! It’s okay to not be great at golf but don’t suck at the expense of others afternoons. Slow play and bad golfers is a bad combo and it’s all you get here. Staff needs to do better at keeping pace smooth or maybe be less money hungry and space out tee times a little more. Typical FL public course experience. Meh.

DIFFICULT, & It WILL BE SLOW

For the price, this is a great club. If you like playing fast, which i do, maybe consider another course, or not Fri,Sat,Sun here! The pro shop is nice. There are starters at the slub, and in front of each of the 3 9's. The grass is great, everything is maintained. I typically shoot 85-100... I shot 101 today. It's difficult. Grass is maintained. Fairways and rough is nearly immaculate. Waste areas are about 3.5/5. Greens are fast, and honestly PICK UP YOUR PITCH DIVOTS!!! That is my only "grounds" complaint, and that's not on staff, it's on players. I think maybe the staff can just drill it in a bit better. Got paired with locals a bit older than me, they were great, and ran into, and paired with some teens on the back white. Another friend of theirs was playing another hole, and joined with us. They mostly knew golf etiquette, but fixing divots wasn't in their head. One of the kids (probably 12 years old) asked what I was doing on the green, and where those marks came from! They are kids, but I'd love if the staff just started drilling a bit more course care into them. Also there was a wedding, and the party came ONTO THE FAIRWAY as we were trying to tee off! That held us and the group behind up at least 10 minutes, and this course is already pretty backed up.

Great Course, but has routing problems.

The course is well-designed and maintained. The most significant negative is that it has 27 holes. The pace of play is painfully slow. The first tee on each nine is backed up with new players beginning their rounds while others are making the turn.

4 Stars? I have to set the record straight.

Royal St Clond Golf Links RSC is one of the best values in Central Florida. My group plays weekly around the Orlando region seeking the best value, course availability and dodging weather. We would play RSC every week except that its hard to get morning tee times because its so popular and its a little longer drive. The course has a reputation for great conditions year round and fast, true greens. RSC is a winter hot spot for annual snowbirds and the word is out locally about the great value.

I hesitate to give praise because tee times are already tough to get but I had to setthe record straight.
