Royal St. Cloud Golf Links - Red/White Course

We played the course for the first time. Course conditions were good and the staff in the pro shop was very friendly

Not much to say. Always in good shape. It is worth the price, especially if you get a hot deal. Only down side is lack of roll due to softer fairways.

First time playing here. I will definitely be back. Great value. There’s three nine hole courses. So the starter will kind of assign you to which ones you start at etc. I signed up for the “White” and “Blue”. They assigned me to the “Red” and “White”. I don’t know the difference between them so I can’t say I was missing out or got a break. I can say this, I started off on Red. I was extremely impressed with the course conditions. Best I’ve played on in a while. Pace of play was atrocious. Waiting 10 minutes almost every shot. It’s worth it though. For the price. It’s kind of like this. You can have two of three things on every course. Price, quality, and time. This is the great price and great quality course. But you suffer on time. Took almost six hours to finish 18. If you want great conditions and great pace/time? You’re going to pay the price. What can you do? Nothing. Just enjoy what it is. I guess my only gripe was the back nine/White. Pace again was worse than the front/Red, and the greens were fine? But they had been topdtessed pretty vigorously. Just wish I had been told that. Didn’t really effect the putts it was just really annoying to happen upon it and not have it communicated. Yes. I’ll be back. It’s truly a gem of a course. Just be prepared to be wowed by the conditions and let down by the pace.

Played at 1:30 on a Friday. So I didn’t expect it to play quickly. Course got us out earlier than tee time. Shotgun had gone out in the morning. Several 5 somes and generally slow play. Eventually gave up after 12 holes.

Course was in good shape and some interesting holes. Blue nine (what we saw of it) was more interesting than red.

Used golf now because course website wasn’t working and pro shop did not pick up phone (two calls - one message went unreturned)

Was still interesting for a non Floridian and good price point.

This has always been one of our favorite courses to play on vacation. Staff is friendly, course conditions good and plenty of food and beverage options before, during or after the round. Pace of play was a little slow but fun round overall.

$50 for this course in the winter on a weekend is a steal. My only complaint is the greens were so nice and fast I 3-putted more than I wanted to. If I lived closer I would come more often

Greens excellent, tees and fairways in good shape. Tees are being over seeded. It is one course I always go back to. Only problem is booking on golf now. Hot deals ok, but singles cannot book if hot deals not available. Must call course.

Favourite first course each vacation. Never fails. Top quality for little money. Greens like lightening

In town from Calgary, Canada. What a pleasant surprise. Played 27. Bring extra balls. Try to play w a local. Hooked up w a local last nine, helped big time. Greens were awesome. Fairways awesome. T box fair to awesome. This is now a scheduled stop.

Course was in its usual condition-excellent. Some wet spots in rough. Only complaint was slow play. 3+ hours on front. Back played a little quicker(2 hrs). First time I had this problem here. Greens were super smooth. I will definitely return

The weather was beautiful, and the course was in great condition. We arrived about an hour early and the starter got us out well ahead of our tee time. We played the red (front nine) and then the white (back nine). The course is really challenging if you find the hazards. If you can control your shots, it will reward you with a nice score. The greens were a little faster than I was accustomed to and that resulted in a couple three putts for me. Overall, it was a great course to play, and I will be back to play it again once the tourist season is over.
