Grand Lake RV and Golf Resort

This is a review of the Golf Course only. I am a pretty new beginner golfer and my partner is completely new and has never played before. The folks here were very, very kind and understanding—absolutely 5 stars for their level of customer service. The course itself, in my opinion, was well-manicured. The tee boxes were in perfect shape, the greens were a little slow and the roughs were good. Par 4s and 3s on this short 9-hole course. The driving range is great as well. There is a putting green, but I did not use it this time. Great golf carts too. They must stay on the cart path for the par 3s (only 3 of them). A restaurant is on-site if you want a bite after your round. We'll have to try it next time. I would definitely come back and play this course again.

With Golf Now hot deal I was able to play for free. I think normally the greens fees are a bit high for this short 9-hole course, but for a hot deal it's worth the time. On a hot summer day in Florida there weren't many other golfers, so pace was as I wanted. Fairways are in good shape, greens nice but super slow, and the rough was so tall it was hard to find a ball in it. Overall I had a real nice time at this course.

We’ll be back

It’s a nice shorter course that is well maintained. The greens were a little rough today, but the fairways and tee boxes were in good condition for this time of the year. I will be back during the summer months.

As someone who values the camaraderie and hospitality often associated with golf, I found the lack of courtesy at Sun Retreats Ocala Orange Lake pro shop to be extremely disappointing. In an industry where customer experience is paramount, it's disheartening to encounter such blatant disregard for basic courtesy and professionalism.

A great course if you just want to play a quick 9 holes. The staff are helpful and friendly and the course is in good playable condition.

There is an on site restaurant if you are hungry/ thirsty

Pro Shop team members always very pleasant and efficient.

Course is very well manicured and a great way to practice your driver and short irons . Greens werw fast and true.
