Nature Walk Golf Club
About
Nature Walk Golf Club, as its name would suggest, sprawls across a scenic landscape blanketed with majestic oaks and Florida pines. The course boasts well manicured fairways as well as immense playability, both of which have been factors in its growing popularity. While the layout may not satisfy golfers looking for monstrous pot bunkers and lengthy par 5s, it does provide a fair amount of challenge. A number of sparkling blue lakes come into play throughout as well as bunkers that closely hug the greens. Nature Walk Golf Club is both gentle enough for beginners while being a great casual round for more seasoned golfers. The warm atmosphere, excellent conditions, and easy of play can be enjoyed no matter what skill level. Golfers can also utilize the extensive practice facilities, which include a driving range, a putting and chipping green, and a pitching green complete with a practice bunker.

Convenient
Ironically, Panama City doesn't have a lot of affordable golf options. Even the Panama Country Club that I used to belong to when I lived in PC is expensive as a non-member. I play NW when I am in town visiting my grandkids. It is very close, has a driving range and practice area, and the course is decent enough. Yesterday, the greens were in pretty bad shape, with many bare spots that were sanded. If you're looking for a non-serious round, NW works. One note: I saw a young couple (not golfing ) from the surrounding neighborhood taking a stroll on the course. I had to wait for them to clear out of the way before I teed off on #1. Maybe they have an arrangement with NW; however, I find it dangerous and it should not be permitted. It's a golf course, not a walking park.
Could be so much better
It's a fun little par 60 that's great for beginners. The staff is very friendly. The layout is fun but there's a ton of room for improvement. The greens are just terrible. They just stopped offering twilight rates so I'm they put some of the money into fixing them. It looks like they never get watered. It's just bumpy sand with patches of grass on several holes. They have no Marshall that I've seen, which would have been nice when suck behind a 5 some that decided to drive carts on the green. If you hit more than 3 feet into the woods you have no chance of finding it, so be aware. Overall, it's fun and affordable, but manage your expectations
Greens 😳
There should be a sign at the course, “We apologize for our greens.” Other than that very nice little course.
Amazing Hospitality!
My wife and I were in Panama for the week and decided to book a few tee times in the surrounding area, let me say we’re so happy to have booked with nature walk. My wife doesn’t golf much so it was so nice to see how accommodating they were to make her feel at home. For the price the course is amazing, the hole locations and short par 3’s are so fun and challenging. The crew working on the course was very nice as well they’re doing an amazing job keeping everything in tip top shape, if you’re looking for friendly staff and a fun time you have to check out Nature Walk! We will definitely be back when we’re in the area!!
The need to fix the greens
Everything is pretty good but the greens really need to be redone. It’s not even fun to play because your putts will jump and wobble everywhere. Same with the practice greens.
Nice layout, greens need work.
Decided to get in a quick 18 with my son on our vacation to Panama City. I really liked the layout of the course. The greens were cut well but needed some work. Most greens had big dead areas that made putting almost impossible. Good value for the money.
It was fun course
For the price point it is a good course. Great course to practice your short game. Lots of par 3 holes.
Improved!
Course has very much improved over the last few months! It’s a nice quick course!
Unfulfilled potential
This could be a really fun course and is great for beginners. The staff is always friendly. Most of the sand traps have been filled in. It would be nice to have a few to contend with. The course was very busy and the pace of play was slow. I was playing with my wife and son and we are all beginners so at least we didn't feel rushed to keep up. The biggest issue is the greens. They are hard, sandy, and bumpy. I had several putts bounce and jump on the way to the hole and it for sure cost me strokes. It's very frustrating.
Dead fish and smelled
Played 18 walking course layout out is good just the dead fish on the pond shore and the smell from it was horrible and there is no course manager or Marshall so pace of play is like a traffic jam… Plenty of time to practice your short game in the tee box.
No greens
Fairways were ok. Greens are still a mess, mostly dirt. Luckily we played a 3 person scramble, so no 3 putts. Should cost $20 to $25 tops.
Rough
Probably the worst course I’ve ever played. $40 and 40 minute from PCB. Greens were un puttable dead spots, weeds and holes. Fairways were terrible also, dead areas with no grass. I would pay the extra $30-50 to play in PCB. Staff was nice and the carts were good only positives I can say.
