Aquarina Country Club
About
Aquarina Country Club sits at the halfway point between Melbourne Beach and Vero Beach with the Atlantic Ocean bordering it on one side and the Indian Ocean on the other. Its beautiful location is at the center of the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge, which is home to an abundance of wildlife that includes sea turtles, osprey, and manatees. You'll have the opportunity to see several different bird species during your round and you may even spot an alligator in one of the ponds. The scenic golf course winds through mangrove marshes and past groves of live oaks. The layout is also routed around eleven different lakes that come into play frequently throughout the course. Accuracy will be rewarded at Aquarina Country Club, but it's not an overly punishing golf course overall.

It just recovered from IRMA
Excellent golf course, especially having just recovered from hurricane IRMA. The weather that morning brought heavy rain, but most of the course was dry.
I played with another golfer, and we played without delay, met maintenance crew working on some down trees. The fairways were clear and most of the damage was cleaned up.
If your in the area, try to get a round in.
nice turn around
Played here 4 months ago, told myself I would not be back but all is forgiven. A remarkable turn around on the greens, and a lot of work in progress to improve conditions. Tee grass height a nuisance, but this time of year that is okay. Looking forward to returning.
Nice little gem
Across from the ocean, nice breeze. Fun challenging holes. Nice staff, good bar with nice bartenders and reasonable priced food.
Fun Day
Our first time at this course in more than 10 years and we were welcomed as if we played there every day. We hadn't played any golf really in the last 10 years but overall we had a fun, enjoyable friendly day at this course... would recommend. We will be going back within the next month..D&K
Fun Round
A nice short track. The back nine definitely throws some challenging lies at you, especially if you don't know the layout.
A1A Golf
No par 5's so it's more like an executive course. The course was fun to play with just enough challenge for a short course. The sand hazards work actually dirt hazards & most tee boxes were dirt not grass.
Great Value
Great fun course. What are those holes in the greens for? And all that sand on top?
Airation and Top dressing!
That time of the year I guess!
A lot of fun though!
Hidden jewel
Started out with the friendliest and most accommodating
Staff.. the course is fun
Fun in the sun
Very challenging course, great layout, played it 4 times B4. Really enjoy the course.
This course is going downhill fast
My buddy and I played this course a couple of weeks ago and then again yesterday. This is a golf and tennis club and the management of at least the golf course, changed over a year ago. At that time the course was and had been always in very nice shape. The greens were slow, however at least you had a consistent roll. The greens were newly replaced and were very nice in condition. Now it is a different story. The greens do not seems to have nearly as much grass on them and they contain lots of weeds and also lots of patches of poa grass. So you do not get a nice roll on them anymore, the balls hops and jumps a lot, so very hard to judge your speed. You can no longer practice your putting before starting your round as the practice putting green has really been trashed. Been that way for at least 2 months. Also the fairways now are getting a lot of weeds growing in them too. It has been very dry here in Florida this winter, however other courses we play are still in very good condition, so one can only conclude that the management of Aquarinia has been letting it go. My buddy and I will not return to play this course at any price until we see reviews that say it is in better shape. It is very unfortunate for the staff as they are nice and friendly, especially the bag guys.
Mixed Blessing
Played here about 15 years ago and remembered the course well maintained. Regrettably, not so today. The putting green, being kind, was horrible.
Greens have too much crabgrass to be considered trivial, the tee boxes show little effort to maintain a turf stand, and Tee markers appear to be not moved often. Pace of play great at 3 and 1/2 hours even with a foursome ahead of us the entire round.
Staff, from the Golf Shop, to the Bag boys, to the Restaurant, were outstanding in their customer service. I feel sorry for them supporting a club that should have better Greens and Tee boxes.
Conditions a bit rough, but we had fun
Played 18 with my son last week during spring break. The staff was great. Started at the bag drop, then the golf shop, and restaurant when we were done. Thumbs up for customer service. The course had a lot to be desired. I understand it's a shorter golf course, but the rough and fairway conditions were pretty just that, rough. I'll be honest, took a few "ground under repair" drops throughout the day. I'm sure it's difficult to maintain grass that close to salt water and the ocean spray. It also amazes me that the course's own website still lists rack rates when GolfNow is half price. Not sure how courses deal with this anymore....
I would go play again for the short game work and 19th hole crew. Good food and friendly staff...
Executive Course
We were traveling through the area, had not played the course before. Picked due availability of tee times and location. Did not realize this was an executive course. Only a couple of short par 4s playing from the tips. Arrived before our tee time, the pro shop was empty. We were informed that we were only be able to play the back 9 twice. They had scramble going on the front 9. We agreed and played, started the second 9 when the ranger came flying up on us that we had to pay again. Advised we were to play the back 9 twice because of the scramble. The ranger insisted on seeing our receipts, the receipts were for 9 only. Explained again, he stormed off to check. We assume he confirmed we were right, because we did not see him again.
Nice course to play to work on your shorter clubs.
My buddy and I play this course about once per week during the off season. This a par 62 course with a lot of par 3 holes and a few par 4's. No par 5's. We like playing this course because it allows us to use different clubs than we normally use on a longer par 70 or 72 course. The lies are very tight right now, and the greens pretty dried out. Normally the greens here are a bit slow as compared to other courses we play in the area. However, right now they are quite fast, but rather bumpy. Looks like they aerated recently. We don't think this course is worth the regular price of $40+, and only play it when we can get a deal on Golf Now.
Excellent all around
Great round. We were a threesome, and Jonas was very accommodating. Looking forward to playing there again soon.
