Stewart Peninsula offers a nine-hole golf course along Lake Lewisville with dual greens on every hole. On the first round, you'll play from the red tees to the red flags, and on the back you'll go yellow to yellow. After a straightforward opening hole where the only real problem is a pesky fairway bunker, nos. 2 and 3 start a trend of interesting holes. No. 2 offers completely different looks from each set of tees. The right side pin placement presents problems because of the lake, and the left flag rests close to greenside mounding that will send balls bounding afar. Misses here should find the bunkers, as the recovery is not all that difficult from the sand. Stewart Peninsula's third hole is probably the signature, and a 250-yard drive will put you in prime position to go at the multi-tiered green. Avoid missing back right, as the up-and-down is especially difficult from that side.

This course is the best deal around!

My buddies and I enjoyed this course alot. Two of ous are from Enland and and California. This course has character and some challenging holes. We played a 18-hole round of golf in less then 4 1/2 hours! Tough to do in Dallas! They had great staff, ok food (could be better) course was in great shape, and cart girl good looking. Best thing beer only $3.
Super people on the golf course! We will come back many times!

Wow what a great surprise!

My friends and I golf all over and we can say this is a challenging golf course with the best views in Dallas. The staff was friendly the cart girl was beautiful and the price on the weekends for 18-holes with cart is the best in town. My freinds and I are thinkg about thier membership specials.

ONLY $3 BEERS !

NEW GOLF CARTS is always great to see on the golf courses

Not a course I would recommend

Unfortunately, this is probably the worst golf course and value for the money of any I have played in Dallas. The course conditions were terrible. Fairways in poor shape, slow and extremely short. I would not recommend this to anybody for $35 I paid, or even $20.

This course was in poor condition, nothing positive to say.

Between the condition of the course, poor layout and an unusual wait time I found my experience to be a complete waste of a day. It took us three trips back to the club house before we could find a golf cart that was in basic running condition. With no one on the course to speed up slow play; it was impossible to play through. We skipped holes twice to avoid groups that were slowing play to a crawl. I would not recommend this course to anyone.

Worst Golf Experience of my life

The course was in very poor condition, the greens were the only thing half way decent. It is a nine hole course not an 18. Just because you have another flag on the green doesn't mean it is a completely different hole. The staff were very rude. We were the second group to get on the course that Saturday morning, and our cart died on the turn and they didn't have enough carts to give us another one. It should have been fully charged since we were there so early, and they weren't even that busy and they didn't have enough carts? Also, they charge way to much for this course. I paid 30 bucks for a nine hole course. That is way to steep for a nine hole course in my opinion. It is a terrible course and with the staff and equipment issues they have i will never be returning.

Two flags on the same greens does not an 18 hole course make!!!

OMG... This is not an 18 hole course. The place was in terrible condition and the the owner/ staff was as rude as I have ever dealt with. We booked through here but after ten holes left. We were the third players of the morning and our cart battery didn't last 9 holes before causing trouble for us. When we asked about a new cart he said there were none. When we questioned about the fact that it was nine hole instead of eighteen the owner who was working the counter, and proud to identify himself as such, said it was identified on here as a 9 hole course, and told me to my face that I was a liar. It is clearlly not. Just because you put two sets of tees and two flags on the green, it doesnt make it an 18 hole course. It's a bad 9 hole gimmicked up to make you feel like they care. We left after ten holes when the cart quit. We will never return and never recommend it to anyone for any price!!! Pllease respect yourself enough as a golfer to not pay this course any money so maybe they could get new ownershiip who cared enough to fix it up. Personally I believe the potential to be a great nine hole course reasonably priced exists, but not in its current state. Just my humble opinion. My golf budget will be used elsewhere! We left there in serch of another course.

Great weather for a round but a tad windy

Our first time playing course.
It is setup like a links course with holes 1,2 & 8 along the lake shore. It is only a 9 hole course but has two sets of t-boxes and 2 greens on each hole. The play was exceedingly fast the day we played though on a nice day it might be a bit slower.

Great for the money!

This course is a small 9 hole with 2 pin placements to make it 18 but still somewhat challenging if your new to the game like myself. Had a wonderful time despite the heavy wind.

This course is pretty overlooking Lake Lewisville

This course is nice and a good value at $20.00, but the staff member overseeing the course got upset with us for stopping to have lunch without his knowledge. He made us wait to play an additional 30 minutes when there was no one behind us. It was like doing an adult time out. I wouldn't go back because of him.

The course is only a nine hole that you play twice. There is water to hit over and is nice to see how you improve the second time around.

Good for playing a quick 9 after work

Like most Texas courses need attention fairways were impossible to hit dowm thru. Had trouble getting tees in the ground on tee box. The layout is good the greens were good to putt on. This is a golf course that one looks at and would love to redesign a couple of holes to make it really fun. I have now played this course 4 times and will continue to keep it in my rotation for a change of pace. Staff has always been super nice. I will go back to this course enjoy the layout and the views of the lake.

Nice views of the lake. Course is in bad shape

Ground was as hard as a rock. No greens. Confusing course with multiple tee boxes and 2 greens per each hole.
Golf cart was like riding a bumper car.
Setting is very nice as this 9 hole course is adjacent to Lake Lewisville. With a lot of money this could be nice.
They also need to simplify by having the traditional 3/4 tee boxes and one green per hole.
We will not be playing this course again.

Good value for the money, and a decent challenge.

I do not normally like nine hole courses, but I have played this course several times and enjoyed it everytime. The course has multiple tee boxes and duel flags on every hole giving you a different perspective from the front 9 to the back 9. Really good course for the money, and highly reccomended.

dont bother

Course is in a pretty setting next to the lake, however, each green has two holes and is very confusing as to which one you are supposed to play. If they don't have enough room to make this a true 18 hole course then a 9 hole game would be better suited. After 9 holes we had enough of this place and left.

Hidden Gem!

Stewart Peninsula is a beautiful course hugging the shores of Lake Lewisville! I love the variety of holes, from the challenging into-the-wind par 3 (#2), to the links-style par 5 (#9). For the price, the greens are some of the best maintained in the area!

Good value / Quick Round

A fun course to play on occassion. The course features 9 fairways (18 tees and 18 greens, but shared fairways on front and back 9); the layout is a little tight from hole to hole - but it makes for a nice golf course on a small tract of land. Beautiful water views on many of the holes makes for an added plus. I could see how this layout could significantly slow things down if the course were crowded, but we played on a weekend morning and the pace of play was quick. Overall a good value and neat course. The only reason I wouldn't rate 5 stars is for repeated play (if I were local, I would probably play a few times per year, but the challenge would not be as great as a traditional 18 hole course because while there are 18 unique tees and grens - the hole strategy does not vary significantly from front 9 to back 9 - but it's a great place to refine your game).
