About
Marina Vallarta Golf Club is known for its stunning tropical landscape that is home to an abundance of wildlife. Golfers have the opportunity to play amongst iguanas and alligators while enjoying scenic views of the Bay of Banderas. The course is blessed with a bevy of natural hazards including towering palm trees, lagoons, and waterfalls. Colorful tropical flowers and native vegetation further accent the landscape. In addition to the natural hazards, there are also a few strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. The golf course offers a challenging but fair test that is not overly demanding, which is probably for the best since it is easy to get distracted by the beautiful surroundings. Given its versatility and scenery, Marina Vallarta G.C. has become a popular venue for various golfing events, including the Governor's Cup Pro/Am Tournament.

Holiday golf
If you are on holidays in Puerto Vallarta,in the North American ‘winter time’ then there isn’t much to complain about.
Having said that,the course is enduring its dry season at this time. The grass is dormant in spots and plain dried out in others. As a bonus,the ball will run out further to make for lack of distance you may find at sea level courses. The layout is tricky but not overly challenging if you are an 80’s or less player. An added bonus is wildlife! There’s a natural crocodile area on course, so you see some neat wildlife! Along with an array of birds and iguanas. Bottom line: it’s worth doing once but that’s it.
Marino Vallarta Golf Course
This golf course is in dire need of a refresh and a map to outline where you go Easy to get lost so many crosses into residential areas. The wildlife were plentiful Needs all the signage at each hole redone as cannot see them . Great photography on this course and the crocodiles were not a problem Do not search for lost balls
Very sporty course
I really enjoyed my round at Marina Vallarta. The best feature of the course is it’s design. The holes are varied and interesting. I would say that the condition of the fairways and greens were good, but not great, but that the greens were excellent. The course is not too long from the whites, good for an oldster like me. A good challenge, but fair. I will be back!
Mariana golf course
Good course, no marshall. Foursome in front of us was sooo slow waited on every hole and they were 4 holes behind by eighteen. Group behind us gave up on the 15th. Too expensive to have this problem!!!
Very practical
Easy to book and play. The post 2:30pm rate is quite reasonable. Prior to that the rate is questionable but hey there’s obviously money around that can afford it! Course in good condition and presents a challenge. 1st is par 5 SI 1 which lulls you into false sense of security. Make sure you study the map of the short par 4 2nd hole before teeing off!
Bargain Rate in Afternoon.
The course is in great condition in spite of the problems they have had down here. Everyone's very helpful and friendly.
Not worth it.
We played at 3:00 in the afternoon and the pace of play was atrocious. We played the front twice or we never would have finished.
It's Okay
Fair golf course, not overly difficult. Good conditions.
