Marina Vallarta Golf Club

We golf once yearly while vacationing in Puerto Vallarta. Marina Vallarta is a pretty course, easily accessible near the port. It is kept in good condition and has many challenging holes. Seeing bird species, geckos and crocodiles is a bonus to golfing.

Nice and convenient from our hotel - not busy this time of year so pace was play was great - under 4 hours. Good fairways - pretty good greens and cute Iguanas around. Thx tee off for the good pricing!!

Nice and convenient golf course - pretty good shape - decent greens - only irons on the driving range right now, but that will change. Lost a few ‘water balls - but overall a good game. Nice Staff.

A good course, not too difficult. Greens were just okay.

Good layout and challenging course. Blue tees are very difficult. I would play here again. Good value for a resort area. Also, we saw a lot of exotic birds and animals: crocodiles, turtles, geckos, etc.

My husband and I really enjoyed this round of golf . The course is beautiful and in great shape. Nice fairways and large greens. The course is challenging without being too difficult. There is lots of wonderful wildlife to see. The staff was over the top and good food to finish off the round. This is a wonderful golf experience .

The greens were inconsistent. Otherwise, a challenging course.

I found the course more challenging than expected but enjoyable. Several holes require a level of accuracy & the right distance. The only down side for me was condition of the front nine (hence my average rating on conditions). Lots of maintenance work going on clearing grass clippings off of fairways, palm branches & of course coconuts. That’s understandable with the recent storms that have recently come through. Back nine was in great shape and a great improvement to the front. Look forward to my next round.

The staff are always friendly and helpful when we arrive. Driving range is included in the price as well as the golf cart. The course is challenging and interesting to play. There are crocodiles on some holes so you must be aware and don't look for balls in the water.

After shelling out hundreds all week to play the "resort courses" that weren't in good shape, Marina Vallarta restored my faith in value golf that is in great shape. Greens were rolling great at a 9-20, fairways were well manicured, and rough wasn't too bad. Course layout takes you around homes in downtown Vallarta and around crocodile habitats, so just beware of errant balls near the water. The breakfast sandwich is delish too.

Course is still very wet. Storm cleanup of debris, downed trees continues. Greens are fast.

We booked an 18- Hole round and, upon arrival was notified only 9 holes was open for play. The thing here was that,no discount was offered even when I asked.

The course was soggy and virtually unplayable especially for this 64+ player on a cart-path only day in humid 90+ degree day.
