Marina Vallarta Golf Club

Finished my golfing in PV with a round at Marina. beautiful course that is challenging but fair. Nice fairways with a lot of bunkering and water in play on several holes. $99 price tag is somewhat normal for resort area. Will play again if I ever return.

Not sure how it compares to others but not maintained as I would have expected for the cost. Not horrible layout but not great either. Avg at best abd as long as expectations are not too high, you can have a good time.

I paid $60.00 to play which was excellent. However I was charged another $55.00 for my son to ride along.

Course was in great shape and a challenge as always.

Very hot and humid afternoon and unfortunately never saw the drinks cart.

Great even though the greens were being worked. Very interesting layout!

Had another wonderful round of golf. Will look forward to coming back.

The layout is challenging, with dry lakes, well maintained fairways and greens.

There is available drinks cart and staff is very friendly.

Walking distance from Marina hotels within a very safe neighborhood.

Book a tee time. You won’t regret it. Challenging every time.

We have played Marina Golf course eight times in the past two weeks and each time we play the course presents a different challenge for us. That’s one reason we keep coming back. At the beginning of our vacation the fairways were not in great shape, but over the course of the two weeks, they have improved a lot. It’s amazing what a little water can do. We are grateful the rates go down substantially at 2:00 so we can afford to play, though it’s very hot at that time of day. We love playing at Marina Golf course, and will continue to return.

The course is hard to play but fun. We play several times when coming to PV. It is sad that the prices are so high to play when we come. The course is usually empty up to 2:00pm when we use golf now. If they would lower their prices they surely would get more golfers.

Always look forward to coming back to play the Marina golf course. Love the staff, love the challenge of the course.

Once again, we play at Marina Golf because it is convenient, challenging, and has a great staff. We sure wish we could play earlier in the day for less money. When we come to Mexico we play four times a week for three weeks. Would be so great if there was a package of rounds that made golf more reasonable. We play when it is super hot and no one is playing. But even so, we’ll continue to play.

Staff was friendly, and the course was very well kept. Had some sprinklers going while we golfed, but that was ok. A lot of the water hazards we drained and just sand. I personally like water, so I felt that was missing. But overall a great and challenging course!

The course is very expensive. We use golf now but have to wait until 2 o’clock to get on course. Usually there is no one on the course playing and it’s a shame we have to wait. It would be smart to reduce price and get more players. If not for golf now we wouldn’t play.

Paid $169 U.S. advertised as having views of the Bay/Ocean, one tee box only. No GPS or maps on scorecard., Greens in good shape. Would've been okay at $90.
