About
Long and susceptible to the wind, White Stone Golf Club rolls through an impressive Hill Country-like setting with huge oak trees, lots of rocks, and loads of native oaks, cacti, yucca, and wildflowers.
Bunkers are everywhere on this 7,100-yard Jeff Brauer design, and water comes into play on about seven holes. The key to scoring well is keeping the ball below the hole, avoiding nasty downhill putts on the extremely fast greens. White Stone's par 5s are tough, and average golfers should probably play them conservatively and be happy just getting there in three, since three out of four are fronted by hazards and require carries.
On the front nine, no. 1 tests you early -- it’s a 555-yarder with a creek that crosses the fairway and forces a layup on the second shot. No. 9 is nice as well, a 360-yarder that should be played with a short iron to lay up in front of the creek. This hole features a nice dip in the center of the green that requires knowing the correct pin placement.
White Stone Golf Club's back starts strong like the front, opening with a 580-yard par 5 with a sloping fairway that is cut by the creek on two occasions. No. 11 is the best par 3 on the golf course -- a 200-yarder that plays dow hill over a creek and into a creek surrounded by bunkers.

Golfer Reviews
Challenging
This course is challenging but fun to play. Can get busy but for the most part the pace of play is good. The staff is great and carts are always clean and stocked with a bottle of water, 3 tees and a towel. A hidden gem in Benbrook!

Whitestone Golf Club is a good challenging course
We made our tee time online and received an email reminder, it went very smoothly. From the young man in the pro shop to the nice young ladies in the snack bar and beverage cart to the gentlemen we visited with on the first tee, everyone was extremely nice and very respectful and helpful. The course was in good shape and the greens were true, The pace was smooth for a Saturday afternoon, there were a lot of different features providing some very challenging shots at times. We had a lot of fun and will return many times I'm sure.

Great course
The course was great and well maintained. The greens were hard and fast, a little tough to read the speed at first. The driving range was closed which was unfortunate but they were able to get us an earlier tee time to make up for it.

Horrible pace of play
We were a group of 2 following 3 or 4 other groups of 2. It took us 4 hours to play 10 holes. The pace of play was horrible today without a Marshall is sight. Every hole seemed like we were 3rd in line waiting for the tee box. Very frustrating day
Hello. Thank you for reviewing the course. We apologize for the delay of play during your round. This is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. We will continue to look for ways to improve, and we are glad to see you rated the course 4 stars during your round. Thank you for playing Whitestone Golf Course. We hope to see you again soon.

GREAT TRACK
Great track. Reasonably priced especially for a weekend round. Staff was friendly. Amenities top notch. Only complaint they let a fivesome out on a Saturday in the fall after 12 when everyone is fighting to finish before 530. Will definitely be vack
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. Thank you for the 4 stars! We aim for a 5-star experience, so we always welcome feedback for improvement. We typically would never let a fivesome out intentionally, so we apologize about that. If something like that ever happens and is slowing down play, please do not hesitate to alert an employee in the shop. Thank you for playing Whitestone Golf Course.
