Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort

I'm disappointed that they closed the Ridge 9 which was my favorite, but the course is in very good shape. It is short and fairly easy as few wayward tee shots are punished. The drive to the course is a pleasant one through the hill country, though, and the course is interesting enough and makes one feel good about his or her game.

My wife & I played 18 in just over 3 hours. The course was in fantastic shape. We enjoyed the beautiful course & scenery, and really got a great value at $34 per person. WE WILL BE BACK!

Took a few friends out to Tapatio because I had heard about the renovation. We weren't disappointed about anything! Other than the mediocre range, this place is top notch. The greens were in great shape, and the clubhouse has a great restaurant and locker room. We will definitely be going back soon!

On the turn wanted to grab a quick sandwich. The lady was not very helpful. It took 25 minutes to get the sandwich, would of liked to have know that before ordering and paying. Created a back up on course, because we were not the only ones that stopped at the turn to grab a sandwich. They should have sandwiches ready for a quick grab.

Been a long time since I had great time and best of all in a beautiful course from tee to green

course in great shape. greens recently verticut and were a little rough and slow. would like to play again in a couple of weeks. sure they will be great by then.

Played this course for the first time last week and was pleasantly surprised. Started off a little confused as the range area had no golf balls and the staff was under-maned. However once play began it was an Awesome design. Small greens with ample fairways. Great scenery from the back tees. It's not long so play from the back tees and enjoy the full course. Beautiful. New owners are restoring this historic three 9-hole course remarkably well. There was a lot of maintenance in progress during my play but wasn't an issue. Greens were in good shape and held well. Fairways are coming along nicely. Thoroughly enjoyed the round and the upgraded facilities. Staff is top-notch.

There are quite a few holes that are just not clearly defined.

I played the Lakes and Ridge 9. Both were in excellent condition, especially the greens. The bunkers had real sand in them. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. A great place to play golf!

I really enjoyed playing here! It was a fairly easy course, with a couple short par 4s and 5s. The course was in excellent condition and I would definitely come back again!

Overall, the course is in great shape. It has its challenging holes. If you can get a good rate, its definitely an awesome place to play.

I am a girl not a guy, but GolfNow does not have an option for clicking "good time girl" as a golfer. As for the course, very nice now that it has new owners. Having an ice chest on the cart with ice and 2 water bottles in it was a very nice touch.

Played Ridges 9 and Lakes 9. While the Ridges fairways need water, it was manageable. The lakes conditions
were as good as any i've played since my arrival to texas. Including la cantera. Every course ive played could use more water...at tapatia stay w/ lakes and valleys if u can.

Lots of water hazards and elevations make it interesting and challenging.

Best deal for the $$$$. pace of play is better than most. not to dificult. restaurant is great. good driving,chipping & putting facilities. Please try to add the "lone wolf golf course" in lost pines,tx. It is a hyat resort facility, much like the Hill country Hyat in san antonio,tx.

Love this course. I have been playing it for years now. The course has improved related to maintenance and always offers a challenge. Can't wait for the next round at Tapatio.

Course was in great condition and it was a challenging course. I am looking forward to playing the course again now that I am familiar with the course.

Green are great! Fairways need attention- water fertilizer weed abatement and fire ant treatment.

It has been about ten years since I last visited Tapatio. I had forgotten just how beautiful this place is. The course design is much more traditional that many courses I play these days...I love it!!! You are very quickly impressed the the natural beauty surrounding you. It just whispers comfort. This complex just looks like the golf holes have always been there and not shoe horned into a parcel of land. I have read some reviews talking about poor conditions due to lack of maintenance, but we found it to be in excellent condition. Like all of us, they just need a little more rain to fill up there lakes and ponds. Fairways were lush, greens rolled true, (just needed to mow them to add some speed). All in all, I'll be back for sure!!!!
