About
Eagle Lakes Golf Club is situated just minutes from Olde Naples and Marco Island. It lives up to its name, providing a round of golf accompanied by a pair of bald eagles that call this stretch of the Everglades home, along with an abundance of other wildlife. The course design represents classic Florida golf tradition. There is no shortage of water anywhere on this golf course, it comes into play in one form or another on every hole. They may all have water but that might be the only common characteristic they have. Every hole presents a unique challenge. The golf course is wide-open, which also makes it subject to the prevailing winds. Eagle Lakes Golf Club's final hole is a lengthy par 5 with water surrounding the fairway and all along the left side.

Not worth playing in off season
No aerification warning, maintenance workers all over the course, and staff had little to no golf etiquette.
Quick and reasonable
Leaving for home and wanted more round down here.
Enjoyed the round.
Quick Fun Round, But Course Needs Some Work
Had a good time plying the course. They are currently starting some renovations (which are well needed). The bunkers are more like dirt bowls than sand traps, but they are working on those.
It is a very good course overall and some good wildlife and gators to be seen during the round.
Will be headed back for a future round.
In The Rough
The staff was friendly and accommodating and even sent me out a few minutes early, which I appreciated. I enjoyed the round — my fourth at Eagle Lakes — but the course is in rough shape and in need of TLC.

Too Bad
Having played Eagle Lakes years ago, we expected the course to be in the same condition it used to be. Unfortunately, there are numerous bare spots on multiple fairways and weeds, some ankle high, are prevalent on all holes. Furthermore, vegetarian around most water hazards seems to be left to grow into playing areas. The driving range has also been allowed to fall into a state of decay. It would be a good course if someone would put a bit of money into repair and then maintenance.
Greens improved.
The greens were greatly improved from the previous week!
