Eagle Lakes Golf Club

First time playing here while staying on Marco Island. Booked for around 3:30pm for the twilight price of $60ish dollars. Well worth it. Got paired with a nice couple, played in four hours even with a busy course in front of us. The large greens rolled well and were medium-fast. Putted true. Good layout, a couple holes I took the time to ride out ahead to figure out where to hit the tee ball (#10 specifically, stay way left!). Very enjoyable and would return for sure.

I played on 3/14 and called to cancel early on 3/15. I tried the golf now app but I could only submit a request. When I called the course I was told they could do nothing for me I had to call golf now. I tried and read the one hour cancellation policy. However the course has a 24 hour cancellation policy. I didn’t know I was going to get hurt the day before when I played. Additionally, after a five hour round the amenities including the pro shop were closed. I submitted request for a refund and I hope I see one.

Greens were good. Fairways average. I had a good time playing the course but would avoid playing again. After I tipped the guy 5 bucks for cleaning my clubs I noticed later that evening that they charged a $5 tip on my receipt.

The course played in more than five hours. There were too many players allowed on the course. Also, once out no rangers, cart personnel but there were several water and bathroom facilities. The bag guys were very friendly and helpful. I understand that it is one of the most available courses but $35 is probably a fair price. $90 mid afternoons Is way more than it’s worth.

I played here each of the last three years but I don’t think I’ll ever play here again. Definitely not worth the time or the cost.

First off everyone on staff was friendly, enthusiastic and very welcoming. The pace of play was very slow. Almost 5 hours to play. The greens were ok but everything else was lacking. Particularly on the back 9 it seemed like we were playing the same hole over and over. The course is way overpriced. Back home in Indiana this would be a $25 or less course. We did see some huge gators. I find it shameful that a course like this is packed at high cost to the golfer and then they are not spending that money on upkeep. That is pure price gouging.

Good layout. Needs a little clean up and crab grass control.

Course was challenging. The condition of the course however was not the best. Cost for 18 holes was reasonable considering the cost of 18 holes at other nearby courses .

Paid 140.00 for a course that should be 50.00. Had never played the course and my friends and I are single digit handicap. Course was in terrible shape. Greens are adequate. Certainly not worth the money. Staff was very friendly.

I played alone, out in with a threesome. They were friendly and played with decent pace. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the groups ahead of us. Pace of play was slow, and no ranger on the course to move them along. For the price, ($70) still worth it.

I guess they can charge $150/round because there is high demand. The course conditions were fair and there were several areas that were poor. The greens were not well maintained, many of the traps had weeds around the edges and the areas around and behind greens were poorly maintained. Gas powered golf carts. I’d recommend looking for other options.
