About

The Wildhorse Golf Club is the first of three planned courses for the Robson Ranch Community outside of Denton. Designed by architect Gary Stephenson, the course opened the second nine in October 2002.

The signature hole is on the front, a 566-yard par 5 that requires a monster drive followed by two demanding approach shots.

Getting there : From Dallas take I-35 to Denton and look for the 35 W split. This takes you back towards the south to Fort Worth for 6 miles, where you’ll take the Robson Ranch exit. Drive 1.5 miles west and look for the course.

Nice course but a bit over priced

Getting the clubhouse was little bit of challenge but thank god for google maps. Check in process was easy. Played the North and west courses as south is under renovation. Course conditions were great with a few exceptions that they informed us about to watch out. Tee boxes were in great shape, fairways were well maintained and greens were receptive. Not bad after being punched. Staff was friendly in the proshop and rangers. However to charge over $130 and then make people pay for the range and no tech on the golf cart. I guess they are putting all that money into grass. Overall it was a fun course to play but make sure you budget accordingly.

Friendly staff, great layout and pace of play

Very friendly staff from the pro shop all the way through cart return. Great pace of play and course layout. Great value for money (even better if you can get a GolfNow pass deal. First time playing and done with the round under 4 hours. Highly recommend!!!

Great course

We Got delayed because of rain and the course was still phenomenal, super fun to play, immaculate conditions, pro staff extremely friendly. Only downside is, don’t expect to get food at the turn past 2pm. Will have to go in and order at the bar for take out. Luckily not many people on the course so this wasn’t an issue.

Wildhorse in great shape

Played on 5/30 and did so in 3.5 hrs. Course was in excellent condition. West / North until Oct/Nov, as the South is being refurbished. Always enjoy playing here. Highly recommend!

It's early in the season, but still worth it

Like most courses, the grass isn't completely in just yet. However, my son and I love this course. The layout is great. There are several risk/rewards opportunities. You have to think your way around this track. The members and local community are very welcoming. We'll be back many times. Thank you.
