Loved it! Unique Layout
This was my 2nd round of the day after playing the Links in the morning. I loved the Lakes course! While the Links is wide open, the Lakes takes some more thinking and shot shaping. The first 6 holes in particular are outstanding. Great condition, great layout. Would definitely make the trip here to play this again.
Outstanding course outside dfw
This course is a true gem, layout is great, lots of good looking holes And the fairways were perfect. Booked this because everywhere in the Fort Worth area was booked solid and the hour drive was well worth it. Would love to play the lakes again, heck maybe play 36 and hit the links course as well.

great course, restaurant, staff!
Every time I play this course, it seems they keep upping their game, this time the course (Lakes) was is great shape and they even got their new golf carts! Always a pleasure to play and well worth the drive!
Nice course
I love the course but I have to drive over an hour to get to it so I only play it a few times a yr
Always worth the 45 minute drive
My favorite course to play even though it is a bit of a drive from Fort Worth. In great shape and playing firm and fast. Great greens. A scorcher today teeing off at 1pm.

the lakes
had two 5 somes in front of us playing a best ball. really did not slow us up much but on the second hole the marshal said go around to #4 its open then after #18 just replay 1-4 . Was helpful and never slowed up after that simple courteous adjustment
Good time
The course is in great shape. Well worth playing. Definitely will be back to play the Links.

Course in great shape, beverage cart team top notch and restaurant team was great.

Spectacular Course
I was out here last month to play the Apache Course & really enjoyed it. Solid layout & very good conditions. This Comanche Course was another level. The layout is beautiful. The conditions were great. The greens were a crazy blend of slopes and speed. Scoring is dependent on leaving uphill birdie putts. Staff friendly. On course beverage service was top notch. Almost felt like I was playing a resort. Was worth the long drive from McKinney. Can’t wait to come back.
