Love this course!
Squaw Valley in Glen Rose is a great course! Both 18 hole courses are fun to play. A variety of challenging holes on both. I would recommend either course any time! The staff is always friendly and helpful! Well worth the $$!
Great course.
Course was in excellent condition, greens are fantastic and the layout is great. Worth the drive to Glenn Rose.
Great course
Has wonderful time playing this course. Will definitely be back.
Great course
Both courses at Squaw Valley are in excellent condition. Well worth the drive to Glen Rose. Staff very friendly and new restaurant is nice.
Great time
Great time with a great group of guys..couldn’t have played a better round.
Course is above average, but not as good as the links side, due to condition of bunkers. Quite a few bunkers are labeled Ground Under Repair (good move), some are transforming towards grass bunkers?, some are dirt more than sand, and some are good to go...so its a mix. The fairways have nice areas and areas thin on grass, but not bare dirt. Greens are nice! Course layout is excellent! We played both courses (36 holes) back to back. We were held up by a slow group on 1st 18 and by the time we got done in 4 hours, our foursome wanted to grab a quick bite, but couldn't because we were told "golfnow tee times are special, these tee times dont belong to the course, and couldnt be delayed"...i got the impression that there is zero flexibility because we got a good deal. Could they have said go ahead, then we could tee off at the next available time, while also making money at the snack bar? Of course! Also, there is no drinking fountains or water on the course.
Good round! shot 39-41 with the Taylor Made A ball sent to me thru golf now. may have a new favorite ball!
Comanche
This is a fine course. Do not let the card fool you as it plays ~7000 yards from the tips. That isnt long today. If the wind blows incorrectly, hitting the fairway will be a premium. A few holes are long 4pars, but the 5pars are gettable. I shot 70, but the greens have a lot of elevation, so club chouce is tricky. Love the course, and would play again. Play it if you can.
Worth the drive
Great staff. Both courses are awesome.
Pace of play was good
Great course but rude front desk
l love this course! I drive 45 miles to play here. When I am able to score a golf now course discount, the check in person calls me a “prepay” in a very derogatory fashion. He then begins to treat you like you have stolen something. If you don’t want someone to get a discounted product, then don’t offer it! Please fix this soon as my partner is ready to give up on this course.
Hot Today
Had a great time with my son and grandson. It was grandsons birthday. Really hot. Some experts from the county decided to take all the coolers full of free water off the coarse and promised a cart girl would be around. Cart girl went home and we had to drive in from 10 on the lakes coarse to get water. Overall best place to play this side of Dallas.
Glen Rose Golf
Course was in great shape except for the bunkers, The four I played were not even maintained & were like hitting off of concrete. Such a beautiful place to be ruined by such poor bunkers. Also visited brand new club house, may have been the poorest excuse for clubhouse I have ever been in & I have been in hundreds. Cave like atmosphere with no view of golf course. Go outside around back to great views of 18th hole, inside walled in! Very poor design of restaurant. No I don't think Ill be back
Thank you for taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass along your feedback in regards to the bunkers and club house to the staff so they can work to make changes. Thanks for visiting us!
I like both courses and drove over 100 miles bringing along a couple new customers. We got a golfnow discount for both courses. We were treated nice at checkin but offered no flexibility when wanting to get something to eat because we had a golfnow teetime, despite the course having open tee times to accommodate.
