course conditions
The layout was excellent. However, the bunkers could have been in better condition based on the rating given the course. We will play it again. The greens were in good shape and rolled true. The fairways were a little sparse in areas. The layout was fair and you could see the trouble. Did not seem to be any blind shots.
Always in immaculate shape, two courses to choose from, both will challenge every level, Apache may play a stroke or two easier. Free water bottles on course
Best Value Around
Don’t know why I don’t play this course more often. Two 18 hole courses with great layouts and in great shape. Two of us played in a little over two hours. Staff was friendly as usual. I’ll be back!
Love both courses
A very well designed course challenging
Only drawback is that you walk a lot even with a cart
Comanche Lakes
Great coarse.. worth the drive from DFW
Played the Links course a couple times.
Always a favorite on my list!
Excellent courses in great condition. It had rained the day before so they can’t get range balls apparently. That was the only down side to the whole day.
Player friendly. Great pace of play
Wide fairways. Greans were in great shape. Hidden gem just outside the DFW area.
Course Rule
Good course, good layout. If you’re playing with
a discount, don’t show up early. Only full fee patrons can go out earlier than their t time if the course is empty.
Those with a discount must wait until their tee time even if you’re the only ones on the course.
Super Value
Both courses are always great plays. Always well maintained and challenging. A favorite. Great staff, very friendly.
Both Courses are Great!
Both courses at Squaw Valley are great. Staff is friendly and pace of play is much better than most courses in the metroplex. Courses are both fun and challenging. Definitely worth the drive from Fort Worth!
LOVE THE LAYOUT.
PLAY THE COURSE AND HIT SHOTS TO THINK OF THE NEST SHOT.
Comanche Links
I played the Apache course a week earlier and had to come back and play Comanche. The course was a little wet but expected after all the rain. Greens run true and were fast like I like them. There were a lot of weeds on the tees and tee boxes but I think that was due to not being able to cut them. I’ll play again as course knowledge would have saved me a few strokes. Definitely a course anyone who loves golf should play. Great value, maybe the best around and well worth the drive.
