Squaw Valley Golf Course - Comanche Lakes Course

I typically play one of these courses at least once a week.

The good, for me, the people are great!!! The courses are forgiving. Great practice facility.

The bad, for me, some of the greens on both courses have some really bad areas. Either, no grass or indentations. There's are also some very wet spots in front of many greens with ruts. Didn't see 1 marshall the entire round. We had to wait on every shot this day.

In conclusion, this place like any others has ups and downs. They have worked hard on getting grass in the driving range which is awesome. I love this place and will continue to spend my money here.

Super spacious, well laid out and maintained course. Combined with the Links course, It's got a country club feel (while on course), with small town charm. Off-fairway shots are punishing with über-dense, short cut Bermuda (you'll be standing 2 feet from your ball and look right over it). Course is called "Lakes," but water really doesn't come into play (unless you're playing from the tips and shank one hard). Worth the drive even from FtW.

I have never played a golf course that doesn't have water stations, ball washers or trash cans at tee boxes.

First time playing this course and it was awesome! I’m not a great golfer but the course wasn’t too difficult. And it’s in great shape. Only negative was there was no water on the course. With the high temperatures that makes no sense. Otherwise we loved it.
