Tees,greens,fairway really good!
Only 2 complaints
The rough on some holes is like the Bermuda Triangle example. Hole number 2 hit good drive and great approach just slightly short of bunker and green on left. Ball nowhere to be found. Bunkers like hitting on parking lot. Some sand and general raking would be great
Great experience……….until
We had a great time at the course, we were very pleased. Until at about 8:30 the kid from the pro shop came out yelling at us from the hill that we needed to quit playing so they could go home
First time player
Starting with securing a tee time to check in and assistance from staff, everything was easy and everyone was helpful. The course is a lot of fun and in great condition. Clearly the area has benefited from a lot of spring rain and the course is pretty lush. This is one of the best value courses I have played and will definitely be back.

What has happened to Lakes Course?
Not sure what’s going on with the dead mowed grass all over the fairways, and the strange burn marks resembling an airport runway or a highway median, but the grounds crew has really burned up this once beautiful course. The Sup might want to drive around both courses and see what’s going on. Some of the fairways on front 9 look almost like hay. This course was immaculate just 3 weeks ago. With all the rain we’ve had the last 2 months, this course should not look as torched as it does. Links in some areas is the same way. These strange burned tick marks all up and down each hole. Too intentional to have been a fuel leak from mowers. This place looks really bad all of a sudden, and we aren’t even in the dog days of summer yet. Hope they get this fixed and fast.

The course is in great shape. The staff is always amazing.

Squaw Valley is such a nice place to play. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming.
Favorite Course on Property
I liked CL the most of the two. It has the better layout and the better greens from a design standpoint. The conditions could be better, but for the price I would still recommend.
Course in decent shape
There are a few rough areas on the greens and the fairways but overall in descent shape
