Lakes Course
Haven’t played the Lakes in over a year and was pleasantly surprised it was in such good shape. Will definitely be back
November golf
Fairways good condition, Greens somewhat fuzzy as expected for this time of year...only drawback was the 5some playing ahead of two 4somes in front of my 2some...took 4.5 hours

It’s great shape for this time a year. A couple of the greens were a little slower. We book a 8:40 and finished in 3:45.

Great course outside of a few quirks.
Really fun course, great layout, decent challenge, great scenery.. Greens were Barry Allen fast, but I finally adapted. Pace of play was atrocious, it was a tournament weekend and people were bunched up, took over 5 hours to play, and it usually takes me 3. No starter or marshal to help with that. Hole 9 doesn't end at the clubhouse, so pack a snack, and there is only one bathroom for all 18. Overall, amazing course and great value for the money.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Course not as good as previous playing times
Both fairways and green were suffering, especially on back nine. We will not play the SV courses again nor recommend the courses to others, until the courses condition improve.

Crispy
Greens were still rough from aeration. Month ago. Fairways were 60% burned up from heat and lack of water. Layout is good, but grass was mowed too short and dormant

Lakes
Overall the course was in decent shape. They’re doing the best they can with the drought. That being said I believe the cost to play was too high considering the greens haven’t recovered from being punched. While I’m sure they’ll be fine with some time - $60 for a course with recovering greens is to high.

Needs rain
The greens are healing from recent ariation but are in good condition otherwise. Tee boxes and fairways are suffering a bit due to drought.

Feeling the heat
The lakes fairways are responding to the lack of rain. About 1/2 green and hard. Greens still recovering from punching. The links seem to be in better shape last time I played it.

Good course, but needs one thing
Playing in the summer especially this course needs water coolers on the course.
If you play Comanche Lakes you will not pass the clubhouse at the turn. And no where on this course is there a water cooler.
The course is in good condition, played 18 holes in 4hrs 15mins on a Sunday, so not that bad.

Worst customer service ever
It’s 110 degrees outside. There is no mention that the course doesn’t have water stations on the course. To make it worse the cart girl came by twice in 13 holes and each time she “just ran out of water”. She would sell 10 to 12 waters to a group and just so happened would “run out” when she got to us. Not sure what the course expected us to do.
The cart girl blamed the management for allowing her to sell as many waters as the customer wanted as the reason she doesn’t have enough.
The club house blamed the cart girl.
The lack of ownership and responsibility was apparent.
Last. The greens were recently punched and no mention of this either. I’ve played here before and was pleased with the course. But this time they failed from start to end. Would not recommend until they change some things.
