About
The Resort Golf Club is one of Fort Worth's finest golfing destinations. The course sprawls across the rolling hills of north Texas and wraps around the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake. Mature live oaks line the narrow fairways, providing some tight holes with difficult shot selections that demand accuracy, but there are also holes with open, more forgiving tees. Golfers will want to make sure they bring a strong iron game when playing this golf course since there rock walls and bunkers strategically bordering the raised greens. There are also water hazards that come into play along the greensides and fairways. It is a golf course that will reward skill and strategy over strength alone. The 16th is one of the toughest holes but with a good approach and a bit of luck, there is an opportunity for a birdie.

love this course
Very scenic and challenging, if we hadnt had 35mph winds and freezing temps it would have been perfect
Rushing bookings
I got there at 9:50 for a 10:30 tee time and was told “go ahead” but the five people in front of me was told the same thing. So we had three foursomes ahead of us and two behind us and kept getting told to let the ones behind us pass. But we play fast since there was only two of us. The issues wasn’t the groups the issue was as soon as you check in they’d let you tee off regardless of tee time
Hill Country Golf
Very nice venue, course moderately challenging. Greens in great shape with lots of undulation. Fairways were the poorest I have seen in the metroplex.

Course going dormant
Like this course a lot. Winter is coming so things are going dormant
Fast Green
The course is in good condition but the green are very fast. The course has several narrow fairways .

Good Round.
Had a good day. Pace of play was a little slow, but we expected this being a Friday. Staff were great.

The resort golf course
This is a really nice course! It’s close to me and with the golf now app the tee time was super cheap for a very popular time in the morning! I will say that the ground was very firm with barely any grass on the tee boxes and throughout some of the fairways. The layout was pretty incredible though, so I wasn’t too upset with the course conditions and pace of play!

Pretty location in a gated community. Greens in great condition. Friendly clubhouse staff. Old golf carts but in good shape. Limited practice area. Signage lacking on some holes. Winds through nice neighborhoods. Fairways were lacking grass. Some tee boxes were shameful.

Morning Round at The Resort
Staff Friendly, pace of play was great.
Course in very rough shape, fairways dry and no grass in many areas. Greens would not hold 8-PW shots. Yes, TX is in 2nd year of major drought, but this is a "Resort", not a muni in West TX.

Fairways
The fairways are like a concrete parking lot desperately in need of water. Hopefully they can solve this issue because overall the course is a joy to play.

Good course
Bunkers had tight, somewhat rocky lies. Tees usually had hard ground. Other than that, a pleasant round.
