About
The Resort Golf Club is one of Fort Worth's finest golfing destinations. The course sprawls across the rolling hills of north Texas and wraps around the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake. Mature live oaks line the narrow fairways, providing some tight holes with difficult shot selections that demand accuracy, but there are also holes with open, more forgiving tees. Golfers will want to make sure they bring a strong iron game when playing this golf course since there rock walls and bunkers strategically bordering the raised greens. There are also water hazards that come into play along the greensides and fairways. It is a golf course that will reward skill and strategy over strength alone. The 16th is one of the toughest holes but with a good approach and a bit of luck, there is an opportunity for a birdie.

Nice course for the price
Never saw the cart girl, didn't see any ball wash or amenities at 9 hole. Driving through neighborhood was interesting. Minimal water and pretty open course. Greens were in good condition from about hole 3 and on. No gps on carts but we're in good shape.

Nice track
Played course after it rained so it was cart path only. But overall the course was in good condition. Nice layout greens were in good condition. Would play again.

My Favorite course so far in DFW
This course is perfect. Great staff, the course was nice. The front 9 is a very cool experience with tons of trees and the back 9 is very open with amazing homes and a great view of the lake.

Bang for buck
Tight course that really makes you think about your tee shots. Greens were good, fairways had some problem issues, but all in all great course.

Solid course. Well kept Greens. Challenging layout. Only issue (minor) was no cart girl. They have a nice indoor bar though.

Pace of play was fantastic, greens were poor, tee boxes and fairways were in decent shape, value for the cost is great and the driving range is solid

Greens were like putting through a pasture. fairways were in mediocre shape but very fast. tee box's were hit or miss. If you catch it on a hot deal its a great value but I would be sorely dissapointed if I payed Sunday green fee's for the condition it is currently in.

Not a good experience
The course was not maintained well. I understand golf course economics and recognize a course that is not subsidized by members, an HOA, or a municipality.
The course is badly designed in that there were golf balls, including our own, in other fairways many times.
We had a mother and her children driving on the cart path while we were on the tee. Very unsafe.
There were driving range balls all over the course.

Rough
Course is in very rough shape, especially the green and tee boxes. Usually one of my favorite tracks in the DFW area, but it has gotten really, really bad. Probably won't be back.
