The Resort Golf Club is one of Fort Worth's finest golfing destinations. The course sprawls across the rolling hills of north Texas and wraps around the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake. Mature live oaks line the narrow fairways, providing some tight holes with difficult shot selections that demand accuracy, but there are also holes with open, more forgiving tees. Golfers will want to make sure they bring a strong iron game when playing this golf course since there rock walls and bunkers strategically bordering the raised greens. There are also water hazards that come into play along the greensides and fairways. It is a golf course that will reward skill and strategy over strength alone. The 16th is one of the toughest holes but with a good approach and a bit of luck, there is an opportunity for a birdie.

Good day of golf
Staff is friendly, the fairways could use some grass, the greens rolled good but are very fast, the sand bunkers need help. It still early so hopefully they will get the course back in shape. On this day pace of play was good and the slower groups allowed us to play through which is almost a loss golf courtesy. Price was good off Golf Now, the regular price would be steep for play with the course in winter conditions
The Course is a Great Layout
Wonderful Staff. Great Set up and challenge. The course management is also constantly initiating upgrades and revisions. In the past 5 years I have seen major water control improvements and the staff is now looking at upgrades to the fairways and the layout of the course. This course is one of the best places for Golf in North Texas.
Just awful
Cannot express how terrible this course is, most of the fairways are dirt, greens are 90% weeds and dead. Pace of play is awful as well. The leprechaun guy with the beard working the front desk is a rude D bag as well. Will not play here again

Interesting day
Course was a little rough fairways were hard a lot of roll greens were fast but rolled well, for the time of the year it was not bad day of golf will play this course again
I came back!
I wanted to play a round close to my home. I stopped coming to the Resort because of the pace of play was frustrating. I was surprised by the pace of play this time. We played a round in under 4 hours. I'll be back.
Terrible course.
The place had no grass on it. It’s just dirt everywhere. It was cart path only and we were charged $30 extra so my wife could ride in the cart with me. Will not recommend this course to anyone.

Rushing bookings
I got there at 9:50 for a 10:30 tee time and was told “go ahead” but the five people in front of me was told the same thing. So we had three foursomes ahead of us and two behind us and kept getting told to let the ones behind us pass. But we play fast since there was only two of us. The issues wasn’t the groups the issue was as soon as you check in they’d let you tee off regardless of tee time

Hill Country Golf
Very nice venue, course moderately challenging. Greens in great shape with lots of undulation. Fairways were the poorest I have seen in the metroplex.

Had a good day. Pace of play was a little slow, but we expected this being a Friday. Staff were great.

The resort golf course
This is a really nice course! It’s close to me and with the golf now app the tee time was super cheap for a very popular time in the morning! I will say that the ground was very firm with barely any grass on the tee boxes and throughout some of the fairways. The layout was pretty incredible though, so I wasn’t too upset with the course conditions and pace of play!

Pretty location in a gated community. Greens in great condition. Friendly clubhouse staff. Old golf carts but in good shape. Limited practice area. Signage lacking on some holes. Winds through nice neighborhoods. Fairways were lacking grass. Some tee boxes were shameful.
