About
The Resort Golf Club is one of Fort Worth's finest golfing destinations. The course sprawls across the rolling hills of north Texas and wraps around the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake. Mature live oaks line the narrow fairways, providing some tight holes with difficult shot selections that demand accuracy, but there are also holes with open, more forgiving tees. Golfers will want to make sure they bring a strong iron game when playing this golf course since there rock walls and bunkers strategically bordering the raised greens. There are also water hazards that come into play along the greensides and fairways. It is a golf course that will reward skill and strategy over strength alone. The 16th is one of the toughest holes but with a good approach and a bit of luck, there is an opportunity for a birdie.

May 2021 1st round of the year.
The Resort is a good golf course. Very challenging and not for the long hitters. Going through some maintenance right now with some temporary tee boxes in place. Greens still in transition but almost done in the process. Couple of more weeks and the greens should be ready for summer.

Good, tough course but fun.
It’s a fun course but can be very tough off the tee with narrow fairways lined with trees. Play with some course management hitting irons off some tees for positioning but also some open tee shots. Fairways were in decent shape but a lot of areas that were dirt/grass and greens are hard so are rolling fast. Can’t get much check on the balls coming in so aim to land front side and let it roll.
Range wasn’t open due to maintenance, overall nice course
