About
The Resort Golf Club is one of Fort Worth's finest golfing destinations. The course sprawls across the rolling hills of north Texas and wraps around the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake. Mature live oaks line the narrow fairways, providing some tight holes with difficult shot selections that demand accuracy, but there are also holes with open, more forgiving tees. Golfers will want to make sure they bring a strong iron game when playing this golf course since there rock walls and bunkers strategically bordering the raised greens. There are also water hazards that come into play along the greensides and fairways. It is a golf course that will reward skill and strategy over strength alone. The 16th is one of the toughest holes but with a good approach and a bit of luck, there is an opportunity for a birdie.

Good for this time of year
We really liked the layout, as we could tell this is a challenging course for everyone. The greens were excellent but you can't expect to shoot well here until you understand the greens' slopes. The fairways need a significant amount of work; hard pan and very thin lies made it hard to dig the ball out. Couple of places on the course where you have to be very mindful of tee ball hitting areas while you're finishing a previous hole. We'll definitely play this course again, but after the fairways have filled back in.

Course just laid out weird
I think the arrangement of the holes was just weird. Finding hole 15 is a challenge. The fairways, even for winter were rock hard making pitch shots very hard to pull off. I did like the holes themselves. Fair but a challenge. I’ll probably try the course again in the spring

Had a great time playing in the Winter. Course was in good shape for this time of year. The greens rolled true and receptive. Great price to play a round of golf.

Fairways bare and hard pan.
Course used to be kept up better than it is now. I know it’s winter and dormant but a lot of bare spots in the fairways and hard pan.
