The Resort Golf Club

About
The Resort Golf Club is one of Fort Worth's finest golfing destinations. The course sprawls across the rolling hills of north Texas and wraps around the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake. Mature live oaks line the narrow fairways, providing some tight holes with difficult shot selections that demand accuracy, but there are also holes with open, more forgiving tees. Golfers will want to make sure they bring a strong iron game when playing this golf course since there rock walls and bunkers strategically bordering the raised greens. There are also water hazards that come into play along the greensides and fairways. It is a golf course that will reward skill and strategy over strength alone. The 16th is one of the toughest holes but with a good approach and a bit of luck, there is an opportunity for a birdie.

Terrible experience - Resort Golf Corse & Golf Now
We paid $168 for 2 players to play yesterday morning. It started out good, we were matched with a member and his cousin. What the golf course or Golf Now didn't tell us, was the greens were not in the best of shape, just been poked a couple of weeks ago, still charged us full rate. It had been drizzling rain on and off the front nine, we got to the back and it started raining hard, to the point you had a hard time holding on to the club, the clubhouse sent a message to all the carts stating it was cart path only due to the rain; the member and his cousin said they were done raining too hard to complete the round and cart path only it would make it more difficult. We also decided to quit and went to the pro shop to ask if we could get a 9 hole rain check, there were 3 employees working in the pro shop, the guy at the register told me they couldn't give me a rain check since I purchased on Golf Now. He gave me a yellow post it with 1-800 number for Golf Now, he said Golf Now would call and check if it was raining they would say yes and we would get a rain check.
I called the phone number and spoke to someone at Golf Now, I told them what happened they tried calling the pro shop several times with no answer, they finally spoke to the pro shop and the pro shop lied and said it never rained while we were playing and it hasn't rained hard all day, straight out lied. We were refused the rain check.
Terrible experience with both the Resort Golf Course and Golf Now, I recommend all golfers to stay away from both, too many great golf courses in Ft Worth - Dallas area to have to deal with this type of golf experience.
It been better, but starting to come back
Used to love this course, but as the price increased the conditions decreased. Still an OK value.
Great Course NW Fort Worth
The Resort Golf Club course was outstanding. I took one of my children and my nephew with me. We had an outstanding time. The staff was friendly booking us over the phone. they also moved us to the next day when the original booking was rained out.
Drink carts were moving quickly so we never went without a fresh drink.
Good Round
Had another good day here. Staff are great. Course and pace of play was good.
Perfect day and great course conditions
They have done a great job with the Resort Golf Club. Greens were excellent and most fairways and tee also in great condition. Got lucky on pace of play as several tee times ended up being open in front of us. We finished in just over 3 hours so a lightning round in great conditions.
Mixed reviews
I read reviews and some of them were good and somewhere not so good.
But I don’t know what the problem was. I like the course nice layout greens were awesome, fairways were in good shape as well.
