The Gods said you shall not play. I can’t imagine the course was open at 10:56 Wednesday as it was crazy storming. I would hope you would extend a free round for the one I did not get to play. I did leave a 5 star review 🤔

It’s been nearly 2 years since I last played here. Unfortunately, the conditions has deteriorated so much the course was nearly unplayable. With that said, today’s experience was super encouraging.

It’s clear they’ve made a lot of investments in how they maintain the course and in a few weeks, it’s should be in excellent share (fairways and greens). Tee boxes are “ok” and the bunkers are generally washed out/unplayable. In spite of that, I’m planning to come back soon. The layout is exceptional. It’s worth the trip.

I also understand why the green fees have increased. PLEASE keep the momentum you’ve been building to continue to justify the higher prices.

Golf now had a opening for a single golfer and of course I took it ! Met a Threesome and they were great people. A single golfer and a Father/son team. Course was great except for the greens , looked like they were aerated about two weeks ago prior. Still a nice layout and looking forward to to play there again

This is an interesting course. I played it once before but that was 8 years ago, so I had forgotten most of the holes. It's a course where knowing the layout will help a lot, because there are some blind tee locations and several holes where the green is not visible from the tee box.

The first two greens were covered with Poa Anna grass and it made it very difficult to putt. After that, there was Poa on every hole but not nearly as thick. Some fairways are really tight and challenging.

Overall I give it 3.5 stars because of weed control. Once the season heats up and the Poa dies off the greens will really improve.

I have played this course before and the course was in the best condition I have seen.

I called to cancel my tee time the day before I was supposed to play letting them know that both my wife and daughter were sick and I couldn’t make it. I could have given them a doctor’s receipt if they would have asked me. An English accent lady said she was sorry my family was sick and that she would cancel the reservation for me. So I was surprised when I still got charged for the tee time. Not cool.

Greens were punched a week before so they were a little rough, but I love the layout and they’re trying to get the rest of the course in good shape

Had the opportunity to play this course and was blown away by the conditions and layout. One of the most fun tracks I’ve played in the area, greens are in classic Texas style, small and provide challenging approaches with tough putts. Everything was in really good condition, when everyone is fighting the Poa, the staff at the Resort have done a good job mitigating its effects.

I highly recommend this course.

This course is in fantastic condition. Great staff and no doubt one of the best public courses around.

This is a hidden gem. Best greens in the metroplex. Amazing course.

First time playing this course and I thought it was okay. The layout is fun but the holes are kind of weird often having you go in many different directions from hole to hole. The greens were hard and had a lot of sand on them.

The pverall rating was based on my personal preference of types of course best suited for my game. This course was a bit oddly layed out and too many holes are real tight for my game. One stretch of holes has 3-4 holes intersectjng and people playing out of different fairways due to tightness. Sand traps are just bad and need serious work. But staff is real nice and cart girls came by frequently. Course might be a favorite for others.....just doesnt play to my game

Me and my buddy were in the middle of finishing hole 18 when the cart sent a message the carts were due in. While we were trying to quickly finish putting, the guys that pull in the carts threw a golf ball at us from the cart shed nearly hitting us and they ran back inside the shed when they realized how close the ball came to us.

The course is not in a good shape. Fairways and tee boxes were like concrete. The worst was the pace of play. The group ahead accumulated 25min delay and no marshal out to speed them up. I will not return
