The Resort Golf Club

About
The Resort Golf Club is one of Fort Worth's finest golfing destinations. The course sprawls across the rolling hills of north Texas and wraps around the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake. Mature live oaks line the narrow fairways, providing some tight holes with difficult shot selections that demand accuracy, but there are also holes with open, more forgiving tees. Golfers will want to make sure they bring a strong iron game when playing this golf course since there rock walls and bunkers strategically bordering the raised greens. There are also water hazards that come into play along the greensides and fairways. It is a golf course that will reward skill and strategy over strength alone. The 16th is one of the toughest holes but with a good approach and a bit of luck, there is an opportunity for a birdie.

Nice 4.5 hr round in 100+ temps...NOT
Have played here many times. Maybe 1 other time has it ever taken 4.5 hours. Ridiculous for this time of year. Marshall showed up on 12, absolutely worthless. Did nothing to improve pace of play. Lots of y'all don't understand what READY GOLF means, and you clowns ruin it for everyone behind you. Here's a clue! When you have 3 men & 1 woman thats learning to play, instead of waiting for the group in front of you to get at least 300 yds away, go ahead and have HER hit her teeshot so thats already done. But no, every hole , same stupidity. Hey course manager, how about you teach your starters and marshalls what ready golf is???
Correct position on a golf course is DIRECTLY BEHIND THE GROUP IN FRONT OF YOU, NOT DIRECTLY AHEAD OF THE GROUP BEHIND YOU!
Great course
Great course good food
Fun and challenging
Greens are typically lightning fast, they're still healing up from being punched but I see this course getting so much better over the next few years. It's fun and challenging, tight fairways small greens really makes you use your brain. Not exactly a hackers course, but a few holes open up. I enjoy playing here
Tough course
Best conditions I’ve ever seen out there!!! Bunkers aren’t the best but i didn’t hit 1 of them so no complaint. Grass everywhere!!!
Great course, greens getting VERY nice, fairways going down.
Love this course overall. Staff is great, pace of play is normally pretty good(I average 3h here).
Greens are in really good shape. Some tee boxes and fairways are starting to get a little hard, and seem like they need watered, especially some fairways.
A couple of them—I rolled a 310 yard drive. I wish I could say that was normal for me—but it was all because of the hard fairways. I average about 260-280 typically.
Overall—really fun layout, several holes when a birdie is doable, even if you’re not a single digit handicapper.
Had a nice day on the course
Nice day...expected a little better greens for $80 via GolfNow. It was a Sunday morning so somewhat prime playing time. Would play mid week but not for $80.
My round
Like the golf course a lot
Close to my house
Layout is great
Highly enjoyable
Early morning, midweek round - pace amazing and course great condition (especially considering the rain)
Had a great time
Wanna work on your game in the burbs?
Came here as a single in the middle of the week cause I'm bad at golf. Got matched with 3 others but they were all chill. We all sucked together but the course was great. Plenty of area on fairways to not suck and find your ball, I liked going through the houses to each hole but got anxiety on some tee's cause my driver has a slice of its own....
Greens are awesome, got rained on for a bit and also the golf carts are FAST! I was Max Verstappen out there but like in a controlled way.
