About
The Resort Golf Club is one of Fort Worth's finest golfing destinations. The course sprawls across the rolling hills of north Texas and wraps around the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake. Mature live oaks line the narrow fairways, providing some tight holes with difficult shot selections that demand accuracy, but there are also holes with open, more forgiving tees. Golfers will want to make sure they bring a strong iron game when playing this golf course since there rock walls and bunkers strategically bordering the raised greens. There are also water hazards that come into play along the greensides and fairways. It is a golf course that will reward skill and strategy over strength alone. The 16th is one of the toughest holes but with a good approach and a bit of luck, there is an opportunity for a birdie.

Great day
First time out and was not disappointed. Course was in great shape with the exception of a couple spots where heavy rains caused unexpected hazards. Greens were fast yet soft enough to hold a ball. The course weaves beautifully around the houses, which seems to be a very fun neighborhood, with the homeowners out in their pools having a blast. That being said it’s a fairly tight course, so ball control will be the biggest problem for most, I know it was for me. Will definitely be back, fun course and good value for the money.
Excellent shape
This course is in excellent shape. Everything was set up great for easy social distancing while still allowing for the staff to be very Customer friendly!! We had a very enjoyable round of golf!!

Great Place
My first time. The course is wonderful. Fairways and Tee boxes are a little hard. But the greens are in great shape. I will be back again and hopefully soon.

Good Value
Played this course in late winter and was interested to see summer conditions. Course played firm and fast and greens were receptive to approach shots. Not a grip and rip course but provides very good value.

Great course!
Nice golf course the carts were very clean and the staff was friendly. Since I'm knew to golf it was a little challenging but enjoy our day. I will defiantly play there again.

Don't tell too many folks
I love playing here! Not many people even know about this hidden gem. Play is under the social distance guidelines so one per cart unless family, don't touch flag-stick, no rakes or water jugs on course, etc...
But aside from that, it is in great shape for early May in Texas. Our twosome played in about 3 hours and 15 minutes on a 25mph gusty day.

Tight track, not long
Good course to get a round of golf in. Greens are in good shape, would be better if people fixed their pitch marks. A lot of trees, very little water to contend with.

Great Value
Staff was great and I was able to tee off 30 minutes early with 2 other players. Could not have been paired with nicer guys. I wished I caught the name of the man behind the pro shop desk at 9:30 am to give him a shout out. Only reason my rating was 4 verses 5 is the course is still in winter conditions. Greens were fast and putted true. Layout is great, some tight driving holes and some fairways you can grip and rip. Will play again when the fairways start to green up.

Aerification
Kind of disappointing that we found out we couldn't play the front 9 because they were aerating the greens. We ended up playing the back 9 twice. Would have been nice to know that ahead of time.
