The Resort Golf Club

Good course, it is part of a country club community, club members were very friendly and welcoming, there wasn’t a beverage cart that we saw, it seemed they encouraged coolers to some extent. There wasn’t a Ranger, but I’m sure they staff differently on holiday and expected busy weekends

Course was a little spotty in fairways, but heat is responsible. When I hit the fairway it was playable and very fair. This is a tree lined course and very tight on some holes. Exactly as golf was intended, hit it straight and score low.. Hit it wide and deep grass will swallow your ball. 2 holes killed me 16 and 17. Hit both drives too short and paid the price. Overall, good course to play for 10 and under handicaps.

Fairways and 2nd cuts were fresh and clean. Greens were not fast but well maintained! Pace of play was perfect. Only knock today was that the staff seemed disinterested except for the one cart girl. She was sweet.

We got invited to play this course today from the folks from Texas Veterans Outdoors. Very good day to be out on the course as the grass had just been cut and the course was in great shape. Found ourselves in the sand traps a few times, and each one we went into was hand raked.

First time on this course and the layout is awesome. Greens and tee boxes are in great shape. The fairways are good in spots and terrible in spots but mostly playable. The bunkers overall were in very bad shape. Not sure why a course would let them get that bad. Stay out of the bunkers and you will have fun on this course. Played at a discounted rate so it was well worth the 2 hr drive. Will play it again for sure

Tee boxes and greens were very well kept. Fairways were a little rough but playable. Course layout is great and challenging. Bunkers for the most part have been forgotten and I’m not sure why any course would let them get that bad. Stay out of bunkers and you will have a great round. Booked thru golf now and for a reasonable price I would definitely recommend playing this course.

Golf courses have been closing down around me and I have found myself traveling to neighborhood cities to play. I am glad to rediscover this course. The course is is great shape. The greens are lush and challenging. Construction around the neighborhood is slightly distracting but, it’s all about the course here. I hung in there and didn’t shoot low (83) but I am proud of the score. The layout is tight at times...this course will challenge everyone’s skill set. I had a lot of fun.

This is one of those places if you play it from the rough the score will reflect it. I most enjoy the peacefulness of the location

I have played this course for 10 years and the greens are in now in perfect shape!! Some of the fairways were a tad rough but much better than usual. BETTER THAN EVER! Best kept secret in Fr Worth!!

The “rough” is every where except green and fairway! 4-6” ridiculous!

Thanks to Texas Veterans Outdoors I was able to find out about this place. I never knew it existed until I got to play in the #TVO Invitational.

The customer service here was amazing. The 16th hole will give you a run for your money!! Carts are a must as you do have to drive through the neighborhood a few times to get to a few tee boxes.

The sand traps were the only negative thing about this course. If you went into the bunkers, you needed a jackhammer to break up the ground.

Just based on the customer service alone and the overall condition of the course in August I will play here as my home course more often.

Loved the distances on the course. Required a different mix of clubs than per usual, greens were challenging without being ridiculous.

The greens were in outstanding condition, the staff was very friendly, and played 18 holes in under 3 hours and 30 minutes. Very good value for the money given how nice everyone was (pro shop/beverage cart/cart staff/players) — I highly recommend this course!!!

The course was in good shape considering the 100 degree temperature

I came from 1 hr away to play because i was visiting fort worth the same day for other reasons..course layout average at best - conditions were average to below average..muddy spots, dried out green patches......some very poor etiquette..a foursome in front of us was going very slow.. multiple balls being played by same people.. once a man in front of us CAME BACK to hit his second tee shot after already going far down the fairway - as we preparing to tee off he came back and said his first shot went out of bounds and had to tee off again.. really? it was crowded and people were backed up all day and you had to come back to hit another tee shot? unreal..also on one hole on back nine a ball went near a line of houses and just inside a metal fence - as i was simply reaching to pull it out - a woman came out and threatened me saying i was trespassing and she was going to call the police...She was very angry and demonstrative..i ignored her and moved on as it was the most minor intrusion imaginable - plus the house line was fairly close to the fairway so assume I wasn't the first to go in that area... talk about unfriendly..please don't ever go near that house - aim WAY left -LOL..most people understand when you are 200 yards to the right of a tee box - some balls may come your way - its understood being a homeowner - this lady clearly did not understand that.. Not a great experience and i definitely won't be coming back - even if I lived closer i wouldn't..

They have a driving range that is included in the greens fees.

The fairways were very hard the day I played. The sand traps were highly compacted sand.

There are a couple of very pretty holes. 11 and 12 come to mind.

16th is a real challenge for players like me. It was fun to play though. 17 is likewise a challenge, but for other reasons.

Give it a try. It is in a nice setting.
