About
The Resort Golf Club is one of Fort Worth's finest golfing destinations. The course sprawls across the rolling hills of north Texas and wraps around the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake. Mature live oaks line the narrow fairways, providing some tight holes with difficult shot selections that demand accuracy, but there are also holes with open, more forgiving tees. Golfers will want to make sure they bring a strong iron game when playing this golf course since there rock walls and bunkers strategically bordering the raised greens. There are also water hazards that come into play along the greensides and fairways. It is a golf course that will reward skill and strategy over strength alone. The 16th is one of the toughest holes but with a good approach and a bit of luck, there is an opportunity for a birdie.

GREAT Shot maker's course
The course was VERY fun, and will be even better the second time around since I know the layout now. Bombing the course with a driver isn't the way to play this one... once you know the layout you can truly score better using irons. The course has some amazing views as well. Worth the drive for sure, and I will be back again.

Golf course at the Resort
This course is fun, it’s challenging, the greens were difficult because of the slope on almost every one of them. I’d recommend it to anyone who plays the game.

Nice course for the price.
Have played this course many times. Challenging layout for me. Would like the bunkers to be in better shape but overall the course is well maintained in my opinion and the staff is friendly.

The Resort
CONS: The staff did not WOW me at check in then they did not respond to repeated calls asking for a marshal to come break up the fivesome and push the two foursomes in front of them. Was a five hour round.
PROS: The course layout is great, the greens are very receptive, and they putted true. Lots of positives about the course!

Hidden Gem
Always love to play this course as it provides a great challenge. This is a thinking course and provides many birdie opportunities, but bogeys linger if you don’t play the fairways.

Deceptive course
A lot of blind shots. First time playing this course is quite difficult. 17 and 18 will be almost impossible for short hitters. I enjoyed the course a lot though.

Just as good the 1st time i played
This was my second time playing the course, the course of play was exceptional. Considering I have play this golf course, managing the course is challenging. I look forward to the challenge again soon!

Very Nice Golf Course
I thought the course was very nice. Interesting layout, greens were particularly good and some quite difficult. Fairways were okay but not noteworthy. The reason for a lower rating on the course was due to excessive water on the course. Sixteen was changed due to high water. Given the record rainfall most courses have had issues.

Good course. One thing rain had the driving range closed
Also could not change 3 golfers to 2 golfers after entering promo code I think it upped the golfers to 3 and I couldn’t lower to 2 without canceling reservation

Tight & Roughs
This course was too tight... had very narrow fairways. Too many approaches obstructed by trees. The rough was too deep which may be b/c of recent rain. However, placing deep rough in front of very small greens is also a thing here. All of this combined made for a not very enjoyable outing. This course was a whipping.
Under 3 hrs and 30 minutes. How great is that!
Played my first round. Staff is helpful. Course is in good shape. Starts tight, but many holes you can bomb as well. Want to play again now that I know the layout a little better. Greens held the ball on approach. Oddly though, the greens never broke as we expected. Even on slopes, you need to putt as if it’s almost flat. Greens were recently punched, but no impact on roll as they are almost fully healed. A few more warm days and all traces will disappear. Was shocked that at 11:00 am we did not catch anyone in front, and no one behind as well. Played all 18 in about 3 hours and 20 minutes. Only downside, never saw the drink cart once we pulled onto the tee, think we missed her when we had an isolated tee box in the woods. Some of the off-course areas are a little rough, but nothing that is going to impact a typical round as its repair well away from fairways and normal rough.
