About
The Resort Golf Club is one of Fort Worth's finest golfing destinations. The course sprawls across the rolling hills of north Texas and wraps around the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake. Mature live oaks line the narrow fairways, providing some tight holes with difficult shot selections that demand accuracy, but there are also holes with open, more forgiving tees. Golfers will want to make sure they bring a strong iron game when playing this golf course since there rock walls and bunkers strategically bordering the raised greens. There are also water hazards that come into play along the greensides and fairways. It is a golf course that will reward skill and strategy over strength alone. The 16th is one of the toughest holes but with a good approach and a bit of luck, there is an opportunity for a birdie.

Funtime
Pace of play today was unbelievable. Twosome played 18 at 2 hours and 45 minutes. Only issue is the bunkers are really crusty. Need new sand or it needs to machine raked.
Nice course...
Nice course, traps still had water from storm... fairways pretty good, nice layout, tgere we some rough areas reseeding in rough, but overall no complaints..nice find in north texas.
Cart path only
With all the rain they had it was wet and cart path only!
Not a bad layout but a little rough!
Once everything’s drys out it would be fun!
Great course
Very nice course. Plays tight through the Fairways. Nice fast greens. First time playing, and will go back.
November Golf
Wonderful place to play golf! Challenging course with improving turf for fairways and greens. A gem of a course in the NTX area.
Great Work
New Fairway sod has filled in the bare spots on the course. The new golf carts are amazing! They include GPS positioning yardages and even chargers for your electronic devices.

Good condition
Course was in good condition. Greens are really good for the fall. Holes 11-15 are too tight, but that was the only issue.
The Resort Intergrity
I really enjoyed this golf course. People were not that friendly, but not that unusual for a resort like course. And not as unfriendly like Tangle Ridge in Grand Prairie. HOWEVER, do not leave anything of value in the cart after play. I pulled the cart almost in the cart barn, but I inadvertently left my range finder on the passenger side post. I called the next day, but it was not turned in! I called later in the day and still not turned in. So if you play, please do not leave anything valuable in your cart, as you will not get it back. They have some dishonest people working there! I can't believe such a great course would not help with people who may leave something in the cart after play and take it for themselves. I know it was my fault, but they should be professional enough to be honest and have integrity. Just be aware and take your items and double check. If not, you will not see it again!
Fall Golf
Awesome work being done on this course by the owners and staff. Many new fairway turf improvements have made hitting the fairway a gem. Greens are in great shape as the season turns to Fall. New carts show accurate distance and a joy to drive. Great , Great things going on at this wonderful course and club.
Major Improvements
Wow is all I can say. Over the past year and a half, I have played here at least a dozen times and the course was in the best condition I have seen it in. New carts are AMAZING! You can tell that the staff have been putting in major effort to revitalize the entire experience from fairways to carts. Plus, the clubhouse and starter were accommodating even though I hit two trains on my way and pulled up late for the first time ever.
Hidden Gem
I always overlooked this course due to the reviews and some pictures I see. Wow was I doing myself a disservice. This place was clean, well manicured, and relaxing. One of my favorite rounds in a while.
