About
The Resort Golf Club is one of Fort Worth's finest golfing destinations. The course sprawls across the rolling hills of north Texas and wraps around the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake. Mature live oaks line the narrow fairways, providing some tight holes with difficult shot selections that demand accuracy, but there are also holes with open, more forgiving tees. Golfers will want to make sure they bring a strong iron game when playing this golf course since there rock walls and bunkers strategically bordering the raised greens. There are also water hazards that come into play along the greensides and fairways. It is a golf course that will reward skill and strategy over strength alone. The 16th is one of the toughest holes but with a good approach and a bit of luck, there is an opportunity for a birdie.

Nice Layout, Good Challenge
Play hers often on Golf Pass deals. Love the character of the course. Lots of elevation changes, doglegs tough approach shots into greens. The finishing holes are like a whole different part of the course. When the grass comes back it’s a really nice track
Glassy Greens
The course overall is great. I think hole 2's pin placement for the day was slightly an issue. I watched my uphill put stop and roll back 10 feet. The greens were fast but that's probably an effect of winter conditions. Most of the greens are elevated and the speeds make most shots a little more difficult that most other courses offered on GolfNow in the DFW area.
I could certainly do without the GPS cart telling us we are behind pace while still waiting on the group in front of us.
Golf course at the resort
Awesome course! One of the cheaper rounds in the area but still high quality course and amenities! I will say the only negative thing I can say is that there was no starter and the round took over 4 and a half hours with no marshall in sight. But again for the price of the round and conditions of the course, well worth it!!
Great job
I have not played this in two years and even with it being winter golf in December the course was in in the best shape I had ever seen it. It was a great day to play and so impressed with the course. Looking forward to the next time I get to play here again. Keep up the good work.
Worth the drive
The Resort Course is a nice course off the beaten track out near Eagle Mountain Lake. We had significant rain over the weekend but the course was still in good condition with only a few holes CPO
The course is a nice layout with some challenging holes for all levels of golfer
Pro shop was friendly and it looked like a nice bar area (but I did not go in)
Apart for the 45 min drive for me I would play here more regularly
Funtime
Pace of play today was unbelievable. Twosome played 18 at 2 hours and 45 minutes. Only issue is the bunkers are really crusty. Need new sand or it needs to machine raked.
