The Resort Golf Club

About
The Resort Golf Club is one of Fort Worth's finest golfing destinations. The course sprawls across the rolling hills of north Texas and wraps around the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake. Mature live oaks line the narrow fairways, providing some tight holes with difficult shot selections that demand accuracy, but there are also holes with open, more forgiving tees. Golfers will want to make sure they bring a strong iron game when playing this golf course since there rock walls and bunkers strategically bordering the raised greens. There are also water hazards that come into play along the greensides and fairways. It is a golf course that will reward skill and strategy over strength alone. The 16th is one of the toughest holes but with a good approach and a bit of luck, there is an opportunity for a birdie.

Great course
Greens were in good shape, roll is quick. Fairways in good shape. I will play there again.

Scrubeenie,
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review. At your convenience, please reach out to our General Manager to discuss why your experience wasn't a 5 star experience.
Hidden Value
While not long, the course is tight as it runs through a housing development and it has several doglegs and occasional water to keep everyone honest off the tee.
The course was in good shape overall and the greens appear to be tolerating the Texas summer heat ok.
Pace of play was good. I would play here again.

Hello, arizonacougar. Thank you for leaving us a review. We are sorry to hear your experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you will give us another try in the future. Thank you for choosing The Resort Golf Club.
Great course and not busy at all
Course is in good condition. Not may people because its hot out there.
Nice Upgrade
This place really turned around. The place was in great shape. The starter, a really nice gentleman, told us they have put down a bunch of new sod and the course looked great. They also just got brand new carts with GPS. Really fun track. Guy at the golf shop gave my lip about my shirt but no big deal. Me and my buddy will play here again.

Thank you for your review. If you have time, please contact club management to explain further the reason you gave us a 2 star review.
Fun track
Not a high end resort but the golf courae is fun. Most of the bunkers are unplayable but the rst of the course is in good shape. Golf carts are old and need replacing. No GPS, no coolers, no ball/club washer, parking brakes don't work very well or at all. Good food at the bar and cart service was good.

Infozenmaster,
Thank you so much for your review. Our new carts arrived this past week. They come fully equipped with GPS, coolers, and upgraded seats. We hope you consider coming back out to check them out sometime soon.
The resort
The course was nice especially for being so hot, greens were nice and teeboxes as well enjoyed the course. No food and drink cart but not sure if they run one.

Very nice course. Pretty hard for a beginner and has very tight fairways. Overall great grass and greens just a little on the harder end.
Great day!
Good pace on front 9, back 9 got backed up. Got my first hole in one on a tricky par 3, and the crowd went wild, lol!
Hidden Gem
This course was really nice and challenging. Wish they had a driving range to warm up but not big enough deal to warrant a 4 star rating. Fare ways and bunkers were very nice. Greens were a 8/10. There are a couple holes you can take a short cut and make them very short par 4’s which is fun. Overall very fun. Be aware that the food at the clubhouse is very limited but plenty of drinks.

Macjac6778,
Thank you so much for leaving us a review. We are glad you enjoyed your time here and want to inform you that our driving range is now fully operational. We also just replaced our cart fleet with brand new carts which include GPS, coolers and upgraded seats. We hope to see you soon!
Hot day on the Links
Was the last person to tee off before it got really not so never saw anyone behind me. Got stuck behind a foursome that would let me play through. Ended up taking probably a hour longer than it would have. Course. Is in much better shape than 2 months ago. Still a few bare spots and the fairway on 16 isn’t playable. Overall had a great day paid $15! I will be back.
Barely a golf course
This place is like I-35 and never manages to stop having problems and work done on it. The rates aren’t bad but when half of the course is out of bounds it’s robbery to charge full price. I only play here because it’s cheaper than most places nearby, but it’s a train wreck of a course right now that I wouldn’t suggest for anyone who doesn’t live within 10 minutes from it. If you’re going to let me play on whatever you want to call that place than there is no reasonable explanation for me to pay full price.

Hello, luhbek. Thank you for leaving us a review. We are sorry to hear your experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you will give us another try in the future. Thank you for choosing The Resort Golf Club.
A golf course should never charge full price while under maintenance
I can’t believe this golf course charges full price for a half-price experience. You should be ashamed of yourself. I’m from San Diego CA, a golf course destination. All courses worth their salt provide a reduced rate while the course is under construction and things are less than ideal. Dirt bunkers, rugged tee boxes, and a hole that is reduced to a short par 3 is less than ideal. The management deserves every poor rating it gets. Guys in the pro shop are fine but they act like they don’t want to be there, and I’m sure the grounds crew works hard, this is not a review bashing the crew, this falls solely on ownership and management. It won’t be long until this course turns into more tiny lot homes.
