The Resort Golf Club is one of Fort Worth's finest golfing destinations. The course sprawls across the rolling hills of north Texas and wraps around the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake. Mature live oaks line the narrow fairways, providing some tight holes with difficult shot selections that demand accuracy, but there are also holes with open, more forgiving tees. Golfers will want to make sure they bring a strong iron game when playing this golf course since there rock walls and bunkers strategically bordering the raised greens. There are also water hazards that come into play along the greensides and fairways. It is a golf course that will reward skill and strategy over strength alone. The 16th is one of the toughest holes but with a good approach and a bit of luck, there is an opportunity for a birdie.

Fall Golf
Awesome work being done on this course by the owners and staff. Many new fairway turf improvements have made hitting the fairway a gem. Greens are in great shape as the season turns to Fall. New carts show accurate distance and a joy to drive. Great , Great things going on at this wonderful course and club.
Major Improvements
Wow is all I can say. Over the past year and a half, I have played here at least a dozen times and the course was in the best condition I have seen it in. New carts are AMAZING! You can tell that the staff have been putting in major effort to revitalize the entire experience from fairways to carts. Plus, the clubhouse and starter were accommodating even though I hit two trains on my way and pulled up late for the first time ever.
Hidden Gem
I always overlooked this course due to the reviews and some pictures I see. Wow was I doing myself a disservice. This place was clean, well manicured, and relaxing. One of my favorite rounds in a while.
Fun Course
Only negative is they need a cart girl on heavily booked Weekdays!
Improved course
Course was in good shape except for many of the sand traps. Mostly dirt/sand and mud. Need new sand in these traps. They’ve gotten new cart with GPS which are really nice. Also, improved driving range. I will be back.
Nice Layout
Off the beaten track but well worth the visit. I had not played here in about 4 years and heard that the course had gone down hill. Well I can report that the course is in pretty good shape and lots of work being done to continue the improvements.
Firstly, the pro shop were super friendly
Secondly the carts looked new with GPS
Thirdly the course was in pretty good shape. Some holes cart path only as they are watering a lot. The greens were recently lightly aerated, but were really good and rolled nicely.
Finally, I had a 10:30 (ish) tee time and flew around the course, I caught a 4 ball who kindly let me straight through. I was done in less than 3 hours

Professional greens.
The greens were very good when you’re on the fringe you can even putt. You don’t have to chip. The layout of the course can be challenging at times a few holes the fairways were very narrow.

Course is in great condition. Everything is well maintained. The course also got new carts and they are very nice. I will be back to play.

Hidden Value
While not long, the course is tight as it runs through a housing development and it has several doglegs and occasional water to keep everyone honest off the tee.
The course was in good shape overall and the greens appear to be tolerating the Texas summer heat ok.
Pace of play was good. I would play here again.
