Horrible Ranger
I played in a foursome where I didn't know anyone. Two were course members. We were held by the starter at the first tee until the group had left the green because it was not our tee time yet. Ok I can understand spacing but this is unusual. The ranger was waiting at the second hole and said our group was slow and out of position, This really enraged one of the members and he explained what had happened on the first tee. The ranger didn't even care about that. We finished the second hole and the ranger was waiting at the third. He started the harassment again. The member said he was done playing and wanted to be taken back to the club house.
We continued as a threesome and finished in 3 hours and 45 minutes and were never seen the group behind us wait. We didn't see the ranger again until the last hole. He didn't say a thing to us. I am here on vacation and I will not play this course again this year.
Great value
Valencia offers a nice combination of forgiving fairways, puttable greens, an attractive layout and affordable (for Naples) green fees. Always a good experience if you don’t need everything in immaculate condition.

Terrible Value
This course is a huge rip off for the money. It is your very basic course that is in a housing development. The pace of play was quite slow and there was never a ranger to check the pace of play. The conditions were lousy and overall, we felt ripped off for the price. At 1/2 the price it might be worth it. This course is one you surely should skip

Played at 12:04 … played in under 4 hours. Good layout … medium challenge … good for the average golfer
Great price
Can’t beat the price, clubhouse is not good, staff is really nice, greens were nice, it just seemed to me that the back nine was in better shape, the front nine seemed not maintained as well as the back, and the houses on the front were neglected, the houses on the back seemed newer and well maintained, it was weird that dirt bikes and 4 wheelers were being ridden on the streets of the development and not sure if they were just trying to get to trails or just riding the streets. I would think for a gated community they would be strict on maintaining your homes and not allowing dirt bikes and 4 wheelers on the streets.
The golf course could be very very nice with a little TLC, but most golf communities in the area are well maintained.
