Valencia
Course in very good condition. Wide fairways, water not in play from gold tees. Plenty of bunkers but in good shape. Played in about 4 1/2 hours.
A high price to pay for a Municipal Course
The initial reaction of our group when paying for the round was how expensive the course was - $161.00. If this course was in mint condition you would not have had a problem. The price/value relationship didn't work for me. It's a nice course, wide open and some fun holes with water and bunkers. But the course is in poor condition with Tee Boxes and many fairways full of unfilled divot's. I would not play here again, but it was nice that it was so close.
Partial review
Only got to play 9 holes due to rain. Found the front 9 very entertaining. Sorry we didn't get to play the back 9. I would play the course again.
Decent
Overall the course is decent. Decent shape but for the price you pay for it In Season here in Florida there are much better values close by. Not a $80-100 golf course imo. Much better vauled courses in the area.
Nice open fairways, good greens. Well maintained coarse. Good fun for all handicaps.
Valencia
Played here at recommendation others but wouldn’t go back because of the back nine and a-hole members that hit into me twice. course was in good shape, staff was friendly from bag drop guy to pro shop giving me a small warmup bucket. The club house is a trailer. back nine has a community being built up around it so 4-5 holes you are playing next to an open construction area. Back nine was harder than the front and on placements were tough (3-5 paces off edge. I played as a single behind a two-some and in front of a three-some. I kept up with the two-some and had a good pace of play for an early morning round. Played 18 in 3ish hours. What really bothered me was that the group behind me hit into me twice (!). First on 3, then on 10. I whistled at them on 10 but they just kept teeing off. When I finished the round I was told they were members of the course. I will not come back here because of those members.
Average course
We’ve played course many times and view course as just average it’s in reasonably good shape, greens are fast and tricky. Generally greens will not hold good shots as. They extremely firm. For the area cost is reasonable considering other courses open to the public are more expensive.
