9.5/10 public course
This course was very nice for the $49 green fees. The greens are pretty fast and 4 or 5 tee boxes were a little out of shape but nothing too major compared to other public courses in Naples. Pace of play was a little slow but my twosome finished in just under 4 hours (4 hours is the target pace of play). Also, there is no GPS on the carts so make sure to bring your rangefinder, watch, or download a GPS app.
A wonderfull round
We had a wonderful day at Valencia Golf Course in Naples! The course offers a very nice layout that’s enjoyable for golfers of all levels. The fairways and greens were in great condition, clearly well-maintained, which made for an excellent round.
What really stood out was the staff—everyone was friendly and helpful, especially the starter, who was exceptionally welcoming and professional. It’s always a plus when the people running the course add to the positive experience.
The pace of play was smooth, and we were able to enjoy the round without feeling rushed or delayed. All in all, Valencia Golf Course delivered a top-notch golf outing. We’ll definitely be back!
butGood times
Had a great round on a very well kept course. Despite heavy play the greens were excellent and consistent even if we didn't care for the pin placements - made it a real test of putting skills, for sure. Traps will kept and plenty of rakes. Very pretty layout with some nice patches of water/ponds/lake. Tee selection really drives course difficulty on this one. Played in a little over 4 hours including down time for some lost balls. A forgiving course but you can lose balls if you try
Good layout greens pin placement was great and challenging
Overall, a great day it was not crowded. Very rare. Can you play golf with a buddy in today’s times without it being packed so it was a great day the staff is so friendly. The greens are outstanding of course it’s beautiful.
