Valencia Golf & Country Club

The course itself was fine and good value for the money. Unfortunately, there is significant construction going on around the course (I believe other developments), which distracted from the fun of playing. Noise, dirt, smoke from the construction work.

Course seems to be ok. Although it appears the owners aren’t putting too much money into it. Particularly after a lucrative season. IE palm tree trimming, trash on tee box area’s, green repairs, weeds etc,

All that mentioned it may be due to Divosta homes building a new community right through the back nine. Maybe they’re waiting for a takeover of the course. Not sure.

Staff was friendly, course was wide open at 12:45 on a Saturday afternoon.

Could be great place if a little TLC was put into it.

First off I’ve played Valencia for years and overall it’s been a nice course, however with the massive construction action going on around course, the course is not worth the money I’m mean who want to play and look at that view of nature being completely destroyed for the sake of some cheap homes, but if management insists on charging that kind of money in the summer well you will not have many repeat golfers, the carts need to upgrade to modern day and equip them with GPS I will not play or recommend this track until changes are made

3 years ago I've played the course last time. Especially on the backnine I'missing the wildlife now. They're building 600 new houses and nature is gone. If you don't care about the construction activities, course is pretty well, greens are good and pace to play was fine.

The track and layout is good here, I have played there several times over the last 10 years. This time the greens were some of the worst I have ever played on.....I've played golf for 40 years. A few years ago, my wife and I played here and she had a crop top tank on which was classy, they insisted we buy a shirt for her to meet dress code....a Valencia shirt ofcourse. My wife was horrified and we hadn't played there since, until now. We were surprised to see a female playing on the course with a crop top tank that was not classy. Hmmmm

Lots of sand on the greens combined with greens that need to be cut. Very slow putting conditions. The amount of construction is crazy. Lots of new homes.

We played mid week for a reasonable $26. There was no else on the couse and finished in 2.5 hours. It had not been well developed or maintained for years it seems. The greens were top dressed, sandy and unpredictable. It is an ongoing construction site with houses going up all over it especially on the back nine. There was no signage of any kind so you have to instinctively find the next hole. The starter wss very nice. Best I can say is its golf and had fun. You get what you pay for and would rather pay more for a more legitimate track.

I will not play here again. This was one of my favorite tracks until the bulldozer leveled all the trees to put in 680 new homes. What was once a beautiful idyllic course looks like a war zone. Don’t go!!!!

We had a good round, pace was good. Greens were not in great shape. The construction around the course made the experience less positive. Clubhouse and pro shop was a temporary building.

These guys get 5 stars across the board for having all water coolers full of ice cold water. Heat index 107 for our round. Thank you!

Wish the staff had been more forthcoming with the conditions of the course.

The greens had been punched and sanded the week prior and the head pro felt they were playable which they clearly were not.

The fairways and tee boxes were also in poor condition and the range was a joke.

I would not recommend playing this boring course even if the quality improved because it goes nowhere.
