WestRidge Golf Course
About
WestRidge Golf Course is a unique Jeff Brauer design that features a user-friendly layout. The design tips out at a standard-looking 7,041 yards, however its combination of six par 3s (none over water), six par 4s, and six par 5s is far from normal. Brauer incorporated deep bunkers, natural areas, and lakes to accompany the huge, undulating greens that await hacks who become lazy after getting home in regulation. Other than the unique hole combination, WestRidge Golf Course's drive-able par 4s (nos. 1 and 13) are notable during the summer months because they play downwind and are good birdie opportunities.

Winter Conditions Prevailing
Tee boxes need leveling and seeding. Fairways just starting to recover from winter dormancy. Greens have suffered the most and need extensive work to restore them. Still a fun track and great layout. Not quite back to a condition that would justify full rack pricing though.
Cool Track
The concept of 6 psr 5s, 4s, and 3s (par 72) was unique. Overall the course is in good shape fir beginning of February. Good challenges for any level of golfer. They were completely booked, but was happy with the pace of play. I will definitely play this course again.
Interesting course
I like Westridge interesting layout, music on range, friendly staff. The winter greens are not great - dormant Bermuda.
My only complaint, is the golf carts. They now have gas powered carts that get exhaust fumes in the seating area of cart. At the turn, I went to change carts as I thought ours had an exhaust leak. I was told all carts had this problem - these were newly designed carts that exhaust out the sides of cart by seats. Really.....
Great Hot Dogs!
Nice conditions. The 6 (par 3) 6 (par 4) 6 (par 5) design is interesting. Airport runway right there. Kind of busy, maybe air show. Played on New Years Eve and tragically two planes collided.
Great Value
It is a great deal for the price. fairway and greens in good shape. Sand was in excellent shape.
Great golf course, one problem
I love this golf course. Always in great shape, fast greens, perfect bunkers.
They always have good deals.
Driving range is the best around. You can always hit from grass. Only one day is on mats.
Food is awesome. Cheeseburger is delicious.
The only problem is slow play, I don't know if they put the tee times too close toguether or what's the probelm, but is not fun to play the front nine in 2 hours 13 min (acceptable), and the back nine in 2 hours 53 minutes.
They have to do something because players won't come back. There was one marshal in the back 9 trying to help but there was not a single gap between groups.
This course is great for practice
Challenging course because it's so long, but perfect for practice even for a beginner with nice open fairways.
Staff Issues
I have been playing this course all summer on Friday evenings to get at least 9 holes in with no issues until the last 3 times I've gone there. Case in point, last Friday I was in line with a single who was matched up with a twosome that had a tee time so we figured we would match up and join them as there were no other singles on the sign up sheet. After he payed I told the guy behind the counter that I was a single and could go out now with the guy who was just in front of me. He rudely snapped back that it would be at least an hour before he could get me out, to which I replied they are going out as a threesome, which he said he didn't care and it would be an hour or so, did I want to play or not? I replied I would go down the street and he said "good luck" to which I went to Plantation and walked on for $25 with no waiting. I'll think twice about coming here again as this isn't the first time I've been met with a rude staff member behind the counter.
Well kept course
The course was in great condition and could be a great place to play. The pace of play was extremely slow. There were marshalls on the course but did not seem to speed up the play of those that were really slow. Will definitely play this course again though, will plan for the extra hour to complete 18.
interesting layout
with 6 par threes, 6 par fours and 6 par fives, this course is very interesting and a fun layout to play.
Scoring can be easy if you hit it the ball straight, and tough if you get in the rough which was challenging on this day, due to the length of the rough. Biggest negative - is the players are not good at raking bunkers.
Westridge
Very nice course, definitely a MUST play...
Greens fast, iron play out of the rough.
Great Track
Course was in fantastic shape. Nice tough, bunkers were manicured well. Wish they trimmed the greens down slightly, there is a lot of grain. This course is a great value! Watch out, the backside plays super tough with a southern breeze
EJ
Very professional staff, pace of play was excellent & considering the heat in July was in very good condition.
challenging course
Course is challenging enough. In great shape.
Staff is always pleasant to serve.
Slow play
Play was very slow .no Marshall on the course
Interesting layout that slows play
With 6- Pars 3's, 6 - Par 4's and 6 - Par 5's slows play. You always will wait on the 3s and the wanabees think they should always try to go home in 2. The course management does not encourage speed of play. On Friday there was a group of older gentlemen that maintained at least 1+ holes behind the entire round with no 'Push". So, what makes this fun with all the 3s and 5s - it inevitable slows the pace of play at this course
Amazing !
The course is in great shape despite all the rain on the last couple weeks.
Greens look and roll really good.
5 star experience!!
