WestRidge Golf Course

It was a good first experience. Pace was slow however other than that everything was up to its par and well worth visiting again.

This was the first time for me and my partner to play this course. Great layout with its unique design and the greens were rolled true all day long. We will be coming back here more often.

If your irons working good! This is the course you can get your damage recovered from your golf buddy.
Because this course has 6 par threes, 6 par fours and 6 par fives.

Pace of play was very poor. 2-3 groups waiting on tee boxes. No Marshall on course.
Staff in pro shop unfriendly.

I love this course.. Play here pretty often. Fun and challenging on some holes. Great staff too!!

Dear Westridge staff. This course is considred one of my favorites. We appreciate the well kept course. However, we did run in to 1 problem playing there yesterday on the 14th. We had a tee time at 1:37 knowing we may or may not finish the full round, but my party of 3 was going to try our best. So we reach the 10th hole by the way 2 of the 3 of us were having our best rounds on pace for an 84. So we noticed a new party of 2 were in front of us. I approached the 2 men and introduced myself. Long story short they jumped in front of us, hit from the blue tees and had no business hitting from there. There were times when they were just walking aimlessly looking for golf balls. They had no intention of finishing the 9 holes because they didnt even play the front 9. We didnt finsh and only got thru 15 holes and could if finished it if them guys were not there. I had a great game and a incomplete score card. I feel this is a situation is merit where something should be done about our inconvenience.

The course was great. It always is. My only problem was the pace. It was moving really really slow. We were a twosome. There was no Marshall and no one offered to let us play through. I asked about getting a pass to finish our back 9 another time, but since I used your site I was denied. That's why I wouldn't recommend this course to my friends

This course is notorious for being a great public course. The rates are a little high, but usually worth it. The day I am reviewing was an obvious fluke. The pace of play was horrible. No Marshall's anywhere the entire round. By the time I reached the 13th hole, I decided I had enough and skipped to 15 passing 2 groups who thought the camera's were on them the entire round. Advice: Definitely play this course, but players be warned who you are behind. It'll be awhile before I go back there to play.

I love this course and play it often. It's only a mile from my home and the next closest courses are not as good and more expensive.

That being said - "pace of play" is almost always a problem...especially on week-ends and holidays. The Marshall's will pair you up when carts are scarce...even if you want to play as a single in order to get around slow groups. BUT, what they don't do is make slow groups speed up, skip holes, or....simply allow a few faster groups to play through. Slow players no this and thus don't speed up.

Please get the Marshall's more active and interested in pace of play. The clubhouse gang is great btw.

A really nice course! I loved the layout and the conditions. The staff was very courteous and professional. Can't wait to play here again!!

Course is in great shape. The sand in the bunkers is nice and fluffy, not all crusty like some courses in the area. Greens were rolling smooth and true.

Overall great day! Windy day, cart girls were awesome, Special Daft and Hamburger deal one of the best in town. Rain has help even out the greens. Still challenging and grain affected puts. Be qable to read your puts!

Love this course because its not ur typical flat course in Texas. The greens yesterday were a bit dry and sandy, which I was a bit surprised at with all the rain we've had this season, but the fairways and rough were in great shape!

I really liked this course for its course maintenance, clubhouse, friendliness and services. It had everything we needed and nothing we didn't.

It was raining a little and the course has been getting a lot of rain this week . But it was draining very well. Fairways and greens were in great shape. Not a single complaint except for the food. It sucked worse that a typical concession kitchen. Overpriced and bad. But I didn't come here for the food. I really like this course.

Played on a Friday for $44 which included lunch and a beer which was a great value. Course was a little wet after a hard rain the night before. Course plays tough when there's wind to deal with. Most greens were in decent shape, a little slow from the rain. A couple had some patchy spots, but didn't really notice it on more than 2 or 3 holes. Our foursome played in about 4 hours. There's not much rough on this course so can't really get in much trouble. Fairways and tees were in good shape.
