Fun place. Its golf after all.
Staff was great. Its a Florida Golf course. Coming from Wisconsin, all Florida golf seems better on the overall. Greens were fine. Traps were good. The sand quality was very playable. . I dunno...its not Royal Birkdale, but its long enough and has some good hole sequences. I would play it all day long. I don't think its worth more than 60 bucks a round if I lived there. Coming as a tourist I paid 100. I wouldn't book for any amount higher.
I don't want to be too harsh. Its not a simplistic layout and the greens have some nice undulations. I would shoot the T's though. Seems like they have em WAY up. I played the whites and had to keep backing up to get to the score card distance.
I would play here again.

Enjoyed my round. Pace of play was faster than I expected. Course was in good shape esp. the greens.
First timer
We had a great time playing Valencia on April 1. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Course was in great shape. Pace of play was a little slow, but Marshall came around and had the groups move a little quicker so glad to see there was on course monitoring. Definitely recommend this good value.
Bad start
Starter was rude, arrogant and seemed to be incompetent compared to any other starters we've interacted with over many rounds in several months and past years.
Love the Course butttt…
They need more Restrooms and or PortoJohns on the course. As a male not a problem , but the women I played with it was. Also THE TURN should have a Decent facility and convenient so as not to hold up play ….BTW Rangers we’re out at every 3/4 holes to keep pace . Great GC and I will play again .
Cost was great shape. Staff was friendly from starters to pro didn’t have a chance to do the beverage area. Otherwise very happy.
Drenching rain and high winds today. Had to pack it in after 7 holes. Pro-shop was helpful in processing a rain check. Had to contact Golf Now who were very helpful and processed a credit for 9 holes, not sure why not the full 18 but was appreciative for the credit granted.
Nice layout
This. Course. Gives you the opportunity to score as the fairways are not narrow but trouble awaits everywhere if you spray the ball.
I found that out on two par 5's where I put the ball in the water and messed up trying to recover.
That said I really like this course.
