Course was in really good condition. Good hole set up. Challenging enough for 16 handicap.

Nice layout, but lousy condition. Fairway. Bunkers not maintained. Green traps were somewhat maintained. -not great but ok. Greens were bumpy. We were expecting much better for the money. At $120 this is Extremely overpriced.

This course was disappointing for the money. Not enough grass on the fairways and greens had spots with no grass. Hard to chip because no grass around the greens in places.

The course is in great shape, with the greens qualifying as excellent.

Greens were immaculate, other than that the course was super dry and some bunkers were sand less and seemed to be out of commission. Very disappointing Palmer course.

Great layout and fun course, especially when the wind is up 20mph. My complaint isn't with the course but with the jerks who are either too stupid or too lazy, etc to fix their ball marks. The greens are a true gift to us in central texas but leave it to the general public to not fix their pitch marks. They are ruining the bentgrass greens and will ultimately cause Lakecliff to put in lame bermuda. PLEASE FIX YOUR BALL MARKS.

The course is in great shape right now. The bent grass greens are excellent, definitely among the best in Central Texas. Fairly forgiving layout with several great risk/reward par 5's and a couple of short par 4's. Nestled in the hill country with a few holes with views out over Lake Travis. Probably will get more play now that ACC did not continue their lease agreement, which is good news for public golfers. If you see a hot deal for this course jump on it, you won't regret it! Give yourself enough time to get out there so you aren't rushed to start.

Have played most courses in and around Austin but this was our first time out at Lakecliff. Great facilities and staff. Bentgrass greens were so pure and super soft (granted it rained the night before). There were some bunkers that needed some serious work but other than that course was excellent! Will definitely be back

Wow I waited too long to play this course! Greens were the best I've seen in years kudos to their maintenance staff!! Very friendly staff. Brandi an employee there answered my questions about the greens and she's not too hard on the eyes either! Great experience don't hesitate to play this course!!

Challenging but rewarding. It’s not a course that hurts you on terrible shots off the Tee. Amazing greens. Staff was nicest I have experienced in all of Austin. A true hidden gem!

It's been a while since I've played here but this time, was shocked to see the course condition not as great as before. Bunkers were mostly unplayable and clearly no maintenance being done on them. Greens looked nice but they were slow compared to before but they looked nice. The rough was kind of bad too. This was such a great course but not worth $90 a round. Hopefully it changes around but not worth the drive from Austin anymore.

Great course. Greens are just so much fun to putt on as most of the Hill Country is bermuda. Wonderful layout with some good challenges mixed in with scoreable holes.

Always enjoy rounds out here!

Paid $273 for two in green fees and had reservations more than a week out for Father’s Day with my husband. We checked in at 10:05am for our 10:30 tee time. After paying in the pro shop we were escorted outside to get our golf cart. That’s where things went awry.. Nobody could find the keys to our golf cart, apparently the only one left.... Everyone went fumbling along and left my husband and I standing on our curb. After 20 mins my husband went back into the pro shop and spoke with the initial individual who we paid. He proceeded to get argumentative with my husband telling him it had only been 5 minutes. My husband came out really frustrated and still no cart. I went into the pro shop at 10:30 our tee time and still could get no answer regarding the status of a cart and the young gentleman arguing still that it had only been 5 mins even though our receipt had clearly shown at that point that we had been standing on the curb for over 30 minutes with NO indication what was going on. I proceeded to get a refunds and we left! We have played this course under the previous management years ago at a fraction of the cost and loved the course and the service. This was completely unacceptable, the worst service we have ever received at a course. Absolutely disappointed!

50 minutes drive from downtown Austin. Green is in good shape and runs true. Course layout is interesting and awards / punishes risk takers. Played from back tee with another player early afternoon and finished Within 3hrs and 20 minutes.. could be faster if not waited front 9.
