Annie at the 19th hole was all the reason to play! Enjoyed the layout and the conditions. 15mph wind, green speed was perfect and was very fair. Will be back for these hot deals

Tee time scheduled through Golf Now, golf cart included. But no golf carts available., no rebate/refund offered. NEVER saw a course marshall to monitor pace of play. Numerous golfers who were extremely slow, drove their golf carts within a couple of yards of the green, were practicing, hitting additional shots while golfers waited behind them. Thirty minute wait at the #10 tee! For $110, poor oversight on the course, did not provide what was paid for, cannot recommend, first and last round at Lakecliff.

I thought that the course would be in better shape for the price. The greens were pretty good, rolled real true and were medium pace. I thought the tee boxes grass was way to tall, the fairway was in ok shape. The bunkers on this source were pretty bad, real rough and not kept up with. The rough had a lot of bad grass as well, probably won’t play here again unless I found a deal ($70 or less). Food and staff were excellent tho.

Don't be fooled by the "Arnold Palmer designed" title of this course. What was once a well maintained quality landscape, is now deteriorated into a very average and underwhelming golf course. The only aspect of the course that make it above average are the greens which roll faster than the average muni. Almost every other feature has not been kept up to standard specifically the bunkers which are covered with weeds and look like they haven't been raked in years. A friend and I have never been out there so we assumed a $140 green fee equated to pristine course condition and we were very upset to figure out this was not the case. Biggest rip off I've ever seen in a golf course and would highly recommend anyone to not consider it.

The people are really friendly. The food is good. The greens are very smooth, but pretty slow. The pace of play is better than courses close to Austin. It's perfect if you want to take your time and relax. The facilities are nice, but the course layout isn't particularly spectacular. The course is pretty short at 6,700 yards from the backs. Some interesting holes, but pretty straightforward. I can see this being a fantastic short course if the greens and tee boxes were much tighter, faster, and the conditions were a little more polished. I wouldn't play here at full price; it's pretty steep and I expected a little more. I would definitely come back though if I found a decent deal.

Great day to play golf. Upon check in I was given the option to grab a cart and tee off or hit the range and start my round as soon as I was ready. I thought that was awesome given it was Memorial Day and it was 12:00PM. That doesn't happen everyday, thanks Lakecliff. The greens were in great shape, but some of my approach shots were a little wet. I believe this was due in part because it poured the night before. On a scale of 1-10 for drainage, I would give the course a 9. But I'm not complaining, I enjoyed my round of golf and the friendly staff. I will definitely be playing Lakecliff in the near future.

Course was a lot of fun and in great shape. Will play again for sure!

Second time out and last time was in the winter. Could not wait to play here again in the spring. Even after a heavy rain storm the day before, course was wonderful! Greens are just superb. Arnie oozes all of this course simple holes with protected pins, just wonderful to the eye.

Beautiful course, layout is challenging but fair. Bent grass greens are amazing, even though most of them were aerated, they still rolled true as the aerating marks were just some small lines in the greens, more cosmetic than anything. Some areas around the greens were hard packed dirt so made getting up/down difficult.

I played this course thinking it was going to be really good. It was good, just not really good. The greens were good when there wasn't work being done on them, the fairways were generally pretty solid, and the tee boxes were in good shape and the practice facility seemed to be pretty good. I got a hot deal for $65 and wouldn't pay any more than that if I were to ever play here again. It's a fun course and in decent shape for the time of year, but for $90 full price, it's not worth it. They are trying out a "public" period to try to increase membership, then will go back to private.

Overall: Good course, good greens, good amenities, poor value...you can find better if you look around

..This is a great track and has a lot of potential, but I felt TAKEN. $100 to play this course in its current condition is UNACCEPTABLE. I’ve been playing for 25 years and I know a $100 club when I see one. $45 is the MAX of what they should be charging here RIGHT NOW. While I respect the crew and management doing their best to get the course into better shape, it seems completely unfair to place such a price tag on a round here KNOWING the course isn’t anywhere near the $100 price tag. This is off putting. First off, no overseeding the fairways so that within itself is not a $100 dollar a round course. The fairways were THIN and often.. even in the fairway was it difficult to get a good lie. Every tee box looked beat, and don’t think I came across one that was up to par. Most Bunkers weren’t cared for and some were even just raked dirt! The famous bentgrass greens were fun and rolled true but weren’t anything to write home about. Lastly, no GPS in the carts! $100 and NO GPS? So with the price put aside....and conditions aside....I WILL BE BACK. These conditions will not stay they way they are for long and a pring will be a good look for the course when all the dormant grass comes in. I’m actually anxious to see how it grows in. At that point with the beautiful views the course can pull a premium. I think this course has A TON of potential and is already showing promise. My problem is that UNTIL then...it’s seems very unfair to be charging what’s being charged here. Just my two cents.

Like we had the course to ourselves. Nice layout . Fairways are easy to hit off the tee. Excellent greens rolled very well. Private gate to get into the area. Staff was eager to help with anything. Nice electric carts with mounted ball and club wash always a nice feature. Winter grass conditions made for bounce and roll so had to go one club short on down wind holes. Some nice water holes but not unfair. Really good day for my wife and I. Could not see any other groups near us. Good value on a nice day.

Great tee boxes, undulating “links-like” layout, wide fairways, and bentgrass greens that are really well maintained make this an incredible course to experience . Absolutely one of the best courses I’ve played. Every hole is unique and provides just enough challenge to be fun. Grilled chicken sandwich is a delicacy after the round.!!!!

This course is a fairly short course but fun. A few greens had some issues but all in all was in good shape. Pace of play was very good for a perfect Sunday weather day.

No cart service out on the course was a bit dissapointing but refreshements in the clubhouse were fine. Layout has challenges but fair. Sand was nice and fluffy. Practice facility was great and complementary. I will play again.

Most true greens in central Texas by a long shot! My ratings are only based on winter play so need to be taken at a grain of salt for conditions. Amazingly friendly staff and delicious burger. What a place to experience a unique Arnie use of the Hill country layout: I will be back to Play again!

This course is so amazing! Beautiful layout. Incredible actually! Everything about it is first class! It must survive! Austin Country Club quality! They should have jumped on this course as a satellite! Really hope it finds a new owner! We feel very privileged to play on it!!

What a pleasant surprise my first time on this course. The is challenging but fair with wide fairways . The greens are fast but very puttable. Overall,I"ll be back soon
