The Links at Land's End

About
Although the Links at Land's End has a location that is seemingly remote, many golfers have deemed it worthy of the trek to Yantis. The challenging round is coupled with a scenic and secluded location along the banks of Lake Fork. You won't see much water on the early holes, which play among mature trees, but it has a prominent presence on the golf course starting with the fourth hole. It's a layout that demands accuracy with tall grass and trees lining the holes in addition to the water hazards and strategically placed bunkers. The stretch of holes from the sixth through the 12th is situated right on the lake, making you feel almost as though you're playing on an island. They offer the best views on the golf course. The Links at Land's End is a challenging but fair round that will appeal to players of all skill levels.

Very cool course.
I played in January so the grass was dormant, but I’ll be back in the green grass season, this is a very cool golf course.
Staff Issues
This is a great course but does the manager half to hire young men with such poor attitudes? It is bad enough to pay for a round and not receive the full benefits (free range balls, the best carts they have available are saved for members only, etc) but to go in there and have eyes rolling, teenager-acting young men is a bit more that I can handle. Please do a better job at selecting your counter staff!
Hidden gem
This place never disappoints. I make the 2 hour drive a couple times a year, and have no plans to change that. When the wind blows off the lake, which it always does, it is a monster. But it’s always in great shape and a lot of fun.
My #1
Value for the money.
This place is worth whatever they wanna charge. I drove an hour and 47 minutes to take it on.
I will again, soon.
No GPS
No GPS on the carts anymore. When I booked both times the past month it clearly states booking on GolfNow that GPS is included (in the very high green fees) I’ve played here for years and they had GPS before but the course is nice & in great condition and I know what the costs are. Being your rangefinder
Great layout, Poor Pro Shop experience
Always enjoy playing at this awesome layout. Conditions were great with the exception of the back tee boxes. Looked like they hadn't been mowed in a while. Rough was super deep which makes it hard to find your ball and slows up play. Could benefit from a trim. Perhaps once things dry out they will address these issues.
The other issue that needs to be addressed was the guy working the pro shop that afternoon 9/4. We went into the shop and said " Hello, we have a 1:09 tee time. Guy looks at his tee sheet and throws 2 keys on the counter. That's it! Not a word uttered otherwise. Cart girl was friendly and came around 3 times. Make the trip to play Links at Lands End. It's definitely worth the drive.
Labor Day
Course is in very good condition... greens are great!!! Fun course, great layout and great views. Big Bang for the $ hard to beat.
Fun golf course
Golf course has good holes nice greens
But a little to small and rough needed mowing.
Overall was enjoyable.
