1757 Golf Club
About
Located just a few minutes from Washington Dulles International Airport, 1757 Golf Club is one of northern Virginia's most popular courses. The name comes from the same year that Loudoun County was founded. The golf course is definitely a shot-maker's layout with a diverse terrain that has elevation changes up to 30 feet. There are several risk-reward opportunities as well. Well positioned tee shots will be generously rewarded with accessible approach shots but if you're errant, you'll have to deal with a tough recovery. The golf course is fairly tight so accuracy is a necessity. There are also water hazards on 14 holes and the rough can also be punishing. 1757 Golf Club finishes with an intimidating par 3 that plays over water to a shallow green. You'll need a bold stroke to avoid a watery grave.

Nice course, plenty of challenge
Course was in very good condition with the exception of ball marks on the greens. The greens were hard and reasonably quick. It appears that some people who play there think the course will hire people to fix their ball marks so they don't bother. Admittedly that is a per peeve for me. There is plenty of challenge on the course and you need to learn the course to have your best round. They really need to have restrooms instead of Porta Johns. The staff was excellent and friendly. The practice facilities were also excellent. We will play there again.
Too Slow
Way too slow for a Saturday afternoon with no one policing the slow groups. Tee'd off at 2, finished at 7:20. While we're young?
Wonderful! Time
I had wonderful experience at this course. I felt that I was a member at a country club. The facility was very well maintain the way it should be. I'll come play again and recommend to my friends to play at this course. thank you!
A beautiful facility!
Had an enjoyable outing here. The facilities are first rate! A great practice and driving range. The course is not very long but very challenging! A lot of the holes make you use every club in your bag! The staff was very friendly and made sure you enjoyed the round. Green fees where a little more than I usually spend but overall a great experience!
Wonder golf facility!!
1757 Golf club is an excellent way to spend the day!! 18 holes of golf, lunch at the restaurant, and then either practice or take a lesson at their golf academy!! Beautiful course with lots of water and bunkers. Highly recommend!! I'll be back soon.
Will play again
This course is interesting. I'm a 19 handicap, and shot a 106...worst score in long time. It is a tough course, but I didn't play well, so can't blame the course. I think for a better handicap this is a great course...little pricey for me, but worth the money. Don't think you can walk this course, lots of distance between holes...extremely nice place with lots of practice areas...will play again to redeem myself.
Great facility
This course was very challenging. Water hazards on over 70% of the holes. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition. The rough was high and thick. It turned my club face more than once. Recommend staying out of it! New electric carts. Pro shop was impressive. Did not eat at the clubhouse.
1757
I plan to play this course on my birthday....and i'm glad i did! Get looking course, great staff, challenging but really nice!
Mid-day round
Played just before 4 and was done just after 7. Not bad for a track where I've played 5+ hour rounds in the past. The greens were in good shape, fast and hard, but I wish more people would take the time to repair their pitch mark and one other. For the amount of money spent, you would think people would be more inclined to take care of the course. The staff was friendly and inviting.
Great Course, Will Go Back
Enjoyed my round at 1757. We got a GolfNow rate of $83, but they gave us a $20 coupon so the final cost was only $63. Very nice course with a lot of water hazards. I will definitely play there again.
Used every club in the bag
Nice course, wish would have had course layout at the tee boxes or gps. Local knowledge important . Good variety of holes. Staff could not of been friendlier!
1757 - nice option!
Perfect day, fast pace, great for the accurate hitter. Lots of water, so bring your A game, but course is in fantastic early spring playing conditions. Greens are quick and true even with recent aeration. Another fantastic option in the Washington DC area. Not long, but ample challenges.
very good late fall and early spring
1757 usually is the best public course for conditions in late fall and.early spring. Pricey, but that's what your money is buying.
This course is chanllenging.
The course conditions were excellent. The only issue I have is when making reservation for 4 players you have to pay upfront. In my case one did not show up due to medical conditions. The club house could not refund me for one round and the starter could not get a single that had not paid in advance to play with us and pay me direct.
Played cold and wet day
The course is challenging because of so many water hazards. Without accurate tee shots and good course management, you will loose a lot of balls.
OK
This course had terrible pace of play. It seemed like 6 minute tee times. We waited 45 minutes after our tee time just to get out.
Can't beat the price
Includes a bucket of balls for range. New range mats that are similar to real grass are awesome!
Difficult but fun
Tough course. Mix of some: tight fairways, small greens, long par 5's and hazards. High quality course.
Challenging and fun
One of the best courses in this area lots of fun to play
great value
course presents several attractive golf holes, and is kept in excellent condition - couldn't give it a pristine, but "maintained" seems inadequate.
