Vaaler Creek Golf Club

Vaaler Creek is awesome - well maintained at all times... never has the course been in poor condition tee to green. Even after our heavy rains Vaaler was ready to play!

GPS and ground markers not same. Makes playing very confusing and while course is beautiful since distances are not sound makes experience distasteful. Not recommended for this reason.

Overall this was a fun golfing experience. the course is very nice, with the exception of a few holes where the water features/hazards were either under repair or had just been neglected to the point where weeds had started growing in those areas. Also, please don't torture us by having that nice swimming pool on the premises & then not letting us cool off after a round! It was over 100 degrees when we played, and we could have used a cool down that day, especially since there was only 2 people in the pool. I will be playing there again though.

Great course, challenging and excellent staff. The greens and fairways were impeccable. As hot as it has been the course was beautiful and green.

There was a twosome in front of us that thought they were pros and were hitting from the tips. I've never waited so long and saw so many trees hit by them. I knew we were in for a long day when on a par 5, one of the guys pulls out his range finder while standing on the tee box to spot the flag 550+ yards away...really you thought you needed to know. Other than that it has been great.

Always have a positive experience playing Vaaler Creek. Conditions are always great, although greens were just top dressed the day before but understand that is part of the process. Staff is always friendly and beverage lady, Courtney, makes rounds very frequently! Look forward to my next visit!

My buddies and I try to play Vaaler at least once a month. Sometimes twice a month. We keep going back because of the challenging course and its overall beauty. The staff are good people! They're helpful and easy to talk with. I have a great time when I play at Vaaler! My score doesn't reflect the enjoyment I get from playing Vaaler but, I always enjoy the course!

It's no secret, I luv this course for multi-reasons, as reflected in my survey answers. It's been awhile, not to mention missing my birthday "coupon" opportunity to play, never-the-less , the playing experience on such a beautiful layout as V.C. has always been a delight .

Nice course with short and long holes. Use almost all clubs. Uphill, downhill, around the corner. Nice greens. One word-nice.

Course is in excellent shape. Fun layout and friendly staff. Only drawback was pace of play due to a slow foursome and no marshaling.

Booked on special on GolfNow. Course was in great shape. There are definitely a few holes where you have to pay attention to subtleties of the layout, others where you can cut loose. My son and I signed up, and was paired with a couple of nice guys for an enjoyable round. Course was generally clear, had to let a few singles play through and did catch a slow foursome on the last few holes, but not too bad overall.

Course is in great shape and you can barely tell we are in a drought, greens were very nice, fairways were great. Hill Country Golf at its best.

As always, the course was in excellent condition. Nice plush fairways and the greens, even though had fertilized green paint on them, were soft and fast. Not a lot of people playing on a Friday at 11, and the temperature was bearable because of the breeze. Love to play this course, good thing is too far for most San Antonio golfers so locals can enjoy a first rate course for a great price and in excellent conditions. The snack bar could offer better food but the golf makes up for it.

The course was in great condition with the greens running very fast. As always, the staff was great.

This course is challenging and in good shape right now. The tee boxes on some of the par 3’s are pretty tore up but other than that it’s a great place to play.

What a beautiful course tucked away in the hill country. Everything was perfect from the greens to fairways over condition was unbelievable. Spend the time to drive and play this wonderful courses.

Greens are very challenging but fun once you get a feel for them. Over all had a great time and would def play again.

Course in good shape. Pace of play was headed for five hours and no marshal so I left after nine.
